Per is still coming to terms with his new commute.

You didnt have to try and drive the thing, buddy, there's people who will do it for you.

Do you guys read Swedish news, or did this make it into the international news?

... this happened just this morning.

It's all over the world my friend! No longer does all the news about crazy people doing crazy things just come out of California!

The world is "Global Village" now... this was all over the news everywhere...

Leo "Apollo11"

Ok, I'll admit it was a quite unusual thing to happen but I didn't expect it would make international headlines. Otherwise and concerning this, the normal scapegoating have started, but is already starting to get pushed out of the headlines by such earthshaking events as which C-celebrity has gotten a new boob job, how to speed up your PC in 15 minutes yada yada

Kudos my kiester. The news of what he did, and his intransigence in admitting it, is one of the biggest letdowns in American athletic history.

Hi all,

It is snowing... again... we expect 30+ cm of more snow (on current 70 cm of snow)... that would be 1 meter (i.e. more than 3 feet)...

Yep... all historic records broken... 1 month ago we got 50 cm in 24 hours (at that time this was the record in past 150+ years of written meteorological science history) and 2 days ago we got 70 cm of snow in 24 hours (new record)...

Plenty of Liney Sunshine today keeping the Chipmunks on the deck. Which meant I got to work in the warmth of the hangar where I only needed a wooly hat, jacket and thermal top over my coveralls to keep warm. Apparently the Lancaster boys are getting all the heat

-7c again tonight and the fog. Which means chaos on the roads of Lincolnshire tomorrow and then more snow on Friday. I don't care what the weather does at the weekend, I WILL enjoy myself

Well, Leo was kind enough to provide some measurements re: the snow. Whereas shy and bashful Per has not done so-nor has he provided us with any requisite pictures on the matter. Lastly, he's been most unhelpful regarding posting Swedish bikini models to THE THREAD for some time now. Hmmmph...

If you expect me to provide you guys with pictures of boobs then you're seriously out of line

... and I guess you could find some in the great archive of The Internets ... if not, I would also doubt your computer competence

It turns out it might not have just been cow in some beefburgers I'm pretty sure I've eaten horse on my travels, if the pictures around the windows of the Brazilian restaurant were anything to go by.

"As soon as you give an animal a name, how can you eat it?"

Easy, mate. Fork and knife. It's traditional, but works well still.

I had kumis (fermented mare's milk) and horse steaks during travel to Kazakhstan a time ago. The former was repulsive-not worth the alcohol content I can assure you-the latter quite tasty. Think lean cow / beefsteak with a not unpleasant taste. No objections to eating it again.

Since when do horses think they get a free pass from us omnivorous apex predators anyways? Don't answer. Don't tell me your opinion just yet. Just paw once for yes, twice for no.
