Thanks guys. Dad is stabilized at PaO2=95% when he's on pure O2. They'll look to transition him over to air the next few days whilest identifying / treating the underlying cause of the pulmonary edema. He's stable for now and back in a 'wait and see' approach. Tincture of time and all that.

Good news, Andre. Glad to hear it

It's a hugely popular British 'costume drama' both here and in the UK. Womenfolk are swooning over it, like they did 'Pride and Prejudice' a few years back.

We may be in the same division as the ONLY team in NFL dumb enough to draft him.. but seriously.. come on man.

BTW, I told my oldest boy he could grow up to be anything he wanted, so long as it was a nose tackle for the Cowboys....

Also, everything going ok? I haven't looked back in the thread much, and see your father hasn't been too well. No? Too busy to get on here much any more, so I don't keep up with anyone other than my PBEM partners.

What did you think of the earnings report? PM if you'd prefer.

Hi there John... In IRL I'm only a passenger I'm afraid, but I do dabble in cyberspace. I have quite a few hours up on my custom Cargo MD-11, which I fly and land in FSX. Then of course there is my Emu persona, in which I can absolutely soar.

Ah. Well, Mr Emu probably soars like a bird

It's a pleasant 68 here (20 C), no breeze to speak of, a few patches of small cumulostratus (warm, moist, air influx from the Gulf). Sunny, and a perfect day on the bee-you-tee-ful Southern Gulf Coast of the US of A. The surf at Orange Beach is flat, but when is the surf on the Gulf Coast anything else but? Shoot, my poor longboard is still in the garage and covered in dust.

Anyway, wishing you the best, and lighting candles for you furiously. Keep well, and keep pushing the envelope; life is experience, not a time line.

Ciao. John

Thanks there John... I'm going real good at present.

I'm up and out of the wheelchair now quite a bit, on my two walking sticks. I can get out on the deck now, feels real good to get my bum in the air it does.

I can think of a good half dozen. Except most of them are not appropriate to share in a family forum. Wanker is a good all purpose insult, not too insulting, not too polite and British enough to be ethnic for all those foreigners out there.
