Just as well no Betty's put torpedos into the NJ, then you would hear complaints from your opponent.

I have a feeling, totally unsubstantialed, that recent patches have made a few things wobble a bit.

Changing 1 item might set off something in another field.

PS. I love this as FOW, what if your opponent sees this mix of aircraft and makes a different decision based on being in Betty range for example.
Combat reports IRL are full of error, a number of times bf109 or Fw190 types are reported instead of Zeke or Tony etc.

Fair enough, iv'e just never seen that before in any of my games, if it happens again i'll check the aircraft loss screen to see if they are actually destroyed

Well... Perhaps one USN or RAF PBY Squadron was over the target area by coincident and got a taste of the own Flak, the same could have been true for the G4M/G3M on Naval or ASW search; the only logical explanation, Spock would say...

With you on this, JeffK. This could have the same origins as recent sightings of MiGs in the S/SWPac...do not find the related threat sadly...

Never seen it myself, playing with the official patch.

tk208, are you using the later/latest beta?

MiGs in Pacific was not a bug, AI can take planes from other nation's pools.

This seems to be some kind of glitch or a sync bug? When I see things like this, it's not funny.

Thanks, Puhis. Just found the thread in the tech section as well. I really thought it was a bug.

Just out of interest, does this happen very often in AI games? Been a while since I played one and honestly cannot remember
seeing it.
