Let's just hope that Adrian Newey was off his face on Special Brew when he designed this one. Another Vettel championship would be soooooo awful its not worth thinking about

The Sauber came out yesterday I think...its a different scheme this time. Just hope Hulkenburg can do something with it this year like Perez did last year

So how does Lewis sum up his thoughts on the Mercedes after the first F1 test session?

"We have some work to do but it doesn't feel like a disaster."

What he really meant

"The car is rubbish, I need more arodynamic downforce, but above all, I wish I hadn't left McLaren but I need to sound positive".

I've been meaning to ask you Warsprite, what internet sites for F1 do you browse. I've only gotten into http://f1.gpupdate.net/en/ and http://www.planetf1.com/ I just thought maybe you had some better sites over in England.

Second round of testing is starting soon, I think if Lotus shows it form like the first round they will be the team to beat this year

And I thought Pirelli were suppose to have more compounds of tires this year, its the same as last?!?

That's debatable....don't get me wrong, I'm a Alonso fan, more so then a Vettle fan, but he really needs to start winning championships to go into the 'Best of All Time' category.

Maybe with Rory Byrne back they might be able to do something magical again?

1983-1987 (inc) - probably my favourite seasons (for different reasons). The smart money at the start of that period was that Derek Warwick was going to be the next big thing and Nigel would quietly disappear.... Not exactly!

I'm really looking forward to this season, my son is a designer on the McLaren car so should get some good insights and information as the season progresses. Learnt more about Formula One cars in this last year than I did from the previous 40+ years following the sport.

Well, I will not have this thread in the second page while F1 is relevat...which just happens to be 10 months out of the year...LOL.

I don't know...its a toss up with the second testing session. Lewis did well, but so did Alonso and Lotus.
