Legaspi et environs (Luzon): Uncertain what kind of air strength we could offer at at Legaspi, the heavy stuff was ordered to pull back and rendezvous SE of Leyte to be covered by P-38's and P-40K's from Mindanao. Somebody missed the memo and was 80 mi. further North. D'oh! I blame the staff. These Betty drivers are astonishingly competent. I think this was a CD unit and some Sea Bees.
