HUGE disclaimer: this is not a comment on the politics, but on the thoughtlessness of the writer of a website.

So the website of the biggest TV channel in this country ran a story on how five men in Bulgaria had set fire to themselves in protest against the government. The story included the following sentence, translated verbatim by me:

"The protests had died down somewhat, but in the run-up to the country's elections, they are expected to reignite".

All sorts of stamps: Waterfowl stamps, upland game stamps, general game stamps, trapping stamps, varmint stamps. Varmint stamp? I just got an idea.

Have you read all of the books, KEM?

...yes, really enjoyed them...not sure how he's going to wrap up all the plots in the final book, whenever that will happen...i've been mostly pleased with the HBO adaptation...captures the spirit of the books very well IMO, although i have to say the battle for King's Landing was very underwhelming...i envisioned more epic, but maybe the battle scenes from Lord of the Rings has jaded me...

He's stated publicly that the last scene of the last book will be a view of a huge graveyard, because EVERYBODY will die.

I personally think Martin is a colossal hack of limited talent, who's let his creation get away from him.
