Belated afternoon tithe...

"Interesting" commute in today. Into the teeth of heavy snow. Slush, washboard ice and patchy glaze (black) ice thrown in for 'fun'. Must have passed a dozen cars spun off the roadway on the way in. mid-April.

Storm approaching here, it is stuck in molasses, moving only 15-20 mph east-west. As such, it is mostly just rain with a few embedded T-storms of really not much consequence. Nice lazy raining evening for us.

Found out you can get fresh Colorado lamb. A skoosh more marbelized than the NZ equivalent, but who's counting?

Got a big one. $60 worth. Slice and dice it. Have a good roast for the grill. Lots left over for Souvlaki. Got a good recipe for Souvlaki and Tatziki, with Greek potatoes. A Turkish pilaf might be good, but some fresh greens with a parmesan ranch dressing sounds rikki damn tik.

Oh, and rice pudding, baked with almonds, raisins, cardamom, cumin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Woof !!!

Just before the storm hit Denver, wife wanted me to light up the grill for some burgers. Fired up the grill, 56 & calm. Five minutes later 29 & howling. I bravely sallied forth to flip the burgers. The second one sailed horizontally about 15 feet from the grill.

We beat a hasty retreat to the kitchen stove

Upper 20's light snow and the forecast now is that isn't going to change much through to the end of the month.

Holy crap! Gotta run; a herd of mastadon's are roaming the parking lot. I hate it when use my truck for a scratching tree.

Yesterday ended up being just a lot of rain with some embedded t-storms, nothing severe here unlike Mississippi, Arkansas, and Missouri! Prayers for those affected by the storms. Spent the evening installing a new 30 ppm B&W duplex wireless laser printers for the house and putting together a new edger for cleaning up around the concrete/grass interfaces we have. No more turning the string trimmer on its side!

Another thing done, nice conversation with JeffK3510 on ideas in our 3x2 game.

Good morning, All! It is a great day. The sun is shining, it is Friday, it is payday, and my kids have nothing scheduled for this weekend, more WITP:AE time for me!

...WU is out of town, so i'm in charge of dog unit...she (the dog) peed on the carpet this morning...guess i didn't get her breakfast soon enough

...took her to her doggy day care...forgot to bring her dinner with me...will have to go back at lunch and drop it off

...got all the way to work and realized my office key is on the other key chain...had to back track and get it

...is this friday, or monday?
