It happened to me that I load a game and then, the next second, the game is auto-saved. it seems the time clock is not reset on load.
Also, when the game supported hibernation, the save always triggered when waking the computer.
Finally, when AFK, the game is saved all the same, filling all the autosave slots with the same game.
Not an important issue, but annoying.

Yes, a bit annoying :) Especially when saving and loading takes significant time.

Yah, minor issue that would nonetheless be nice to have fixed.

Re: AFK saving, IIRC, this was intended for the reason of, if you made any changes (policies, orders, designs, etc) you wouldn't loose them (is set to save every X minutes of RL time, not game time)
I'd imagine only way around that is some form of hash check to see if the savegame will be the same to the previous autosave... but that would still take you time to save

Hmm, that's possible. Still, the clock appears to keep going even in the main menu; at the very least it should reset the autosave clock upon loading( or starting) a game.

Ok, that one I wasn't aware of, so I'd agree that's a bug and doesn't sound like intended behaviour
