Do you like pop music from the 60's? European female singers? Especially the women from the British Isles (sorry, I only speak English), check out this site, a fantastic Pop Music resource!

I'm kind of surprised there has been no comments on this great web site...I guess we don't have many 60's European female singer fans here.

Sorry Patrick. I have been meaning to take a butchers at this. Not a genre that I know too much about all there are a few I know and like - not least Petula Clark and Downtown.

Will let you know if I manage to unearth a diamond or two .

Are there any music lovers out there that have a piece(s) of music in their head that they cannot buy but desperately wish they could?

I wish for the soundtracks to the films Operation Daybreak and The Lost Prince.

The former, which came out in 1975, is no longer available as the original recordings are apparently in too bad a condition, meaning that the music would need to be re-recorded. The composer says that is uneconomical. The soundtrack for the latter is out of print and only available on Amazon for £30 at the cheapest!!

There is also a Massive Attack version of Peter Gabriel's Games Without Frontiers that I bought on tape as a b-side to Steam back in the 90's. This does not seem to be available anywhere either.....

How bloody frustrating

Love this toon, although its a shame that the muppets who composed it, couldn't come up with something a little less childish for their band name

I have the three minute radio edit, which I am playing to death at the moment, although this is the 10 minute Album-only version.

Little warspite left her junior school this month - off to big school in September

She attended a Catholic primary school, and the school held a Mass for the year 6 children last week.

This service was begun with a Liturgical dance, performed by some of the year 6 children, little warspite among them. It was absolutely beautiful, a real tear jerker, performed to a most beautiful piece of music

Beautiful music, beautiful words

Mary did you know? - Cee Lo Green

@warspite..my little one started last September..abit emotional seeing her set off on her first day..I can remember mine. As we moved she was only in the primary school for the last two years..but I'm sure if she had been still at the one she went from nursery onwards that to would have been abit emotional aswell. She did well her first year, exceeding all her targets which were set higher than the grades they normally set for that year..so was very proud. I'm sure yours will make you proud too;)

She also goes to a catholic school (her mothers side)..usually you find them to be one of the better schools.

Wodin I'm pleased for you and your daughter - sounds like she's a smart cookie

Yes, the length of time the girls spent at the school (from 2003 (oldest) to 2013 (youngest) has made the leaving quite emotional. The school and all the activities have been a big part of their lives, many of the teachers, and certainly the headmaster, have been the same throughout.

But that's life I guess - always moving on...
