I find myself with time on my hands and would like to start a GC as the Allied player. I prefer WITP vanilla. HRs are open to discussion. I won't be doing an AAR this time around. If you're interested and willing to go the distance regardless of setbacks PM me.

He started a GC and he really prefers to play the Allied side. We've battled many times since our UV days and now we're Allies in a multi player WPO game.

OK, so I suppose you guys are going to force me to abandon WITP and make the leap to AE?

I've intensified my play of AE short scenarios by PBEM with AW1Steve as I'm sadly being pushed by you cowards into a future of AE.

So nobody is going to offer me a chance to right all of the wrongs that I did against Steve?

Negotiations continuing. I will not be doing an AAR this time around if a game is agreed to.

Sadly, there will be no game.

I'm still looking for an opponent.

Hi,
if it is not a secret can you say what turned out to be unpassable obstacle in negotiations with Zecke (HRs, other issue)?
Also what is your expected pace of a game (how many turns a week)?

Without interruptions from RL a turn a day would be great.

I'd rather not make what happened public. If you want you can PM me.

I'd be willing to try a game but couldn't manage a turn per day - would you consider a turn per week ?

I'd be happy to increase the turn cycle to compensate

A turn per week?!?!? No disrespect, but that would be a game that would never get done. Even if you went to 2 day turns you'd still need 3 turns per week to just cover 6 days. It would take almost 5 years to complete a game. 1 turn per week and you're talking over 10 years and between turns you'd forget what you were doing. Sorry, but that just wouldn't work.

Fair enough although a turn per day with each turn being 1 day still equates to a game length of almost 4 years.

That is considered a good time frame. My game v Steve has gone on for over 4 years now so it is most important to find a good opponent who will stay the course.

Ok - good luck with your game then.

Just out of interest - how much time each day do you need for each turn ?

It depends on the amount of activity at that point in time and also how many units you have at your disposal. For instance early war for the Allies, after the the first couple of weeks, tends to go quickly. Later in the war when you're on the offensive and have many active units turns will take longer. I've had 10 minute turns and others have taken hours.

Forget the WITP as I'll be migrating to AE for a game when my war with Steve ends.
