8th November -44 ______________________________________________________________________________ The main event is of course the capture of Balikpapan. ------------------------ Borneo ------------------------ I shouldn´t have shocked attacked of course. Learning by doing I guess! quote:

That will be another shock attack across the river. Ah well. ------------------------ Marianas ------------------------ Good bombardment at Guam! These often happen right after I deliberate attack. quote:
Ground combat at Guam (106,95) Allied Bombardment attack Attacking force 1942 troops, 222 guns, 130 vehicles, Assault Value = 1413 Defending force 22229 troops, 415 guns, 93 vehicles, Assault Value = 208 Japanese ground losses: 221 casualties reported Squads: 12 destroyed, 4 disabled Non Combat: 1 destroyed, 1 disabled Engineers: 0 destroyed, 1 disabled Guns lost 4 (2 destroyed, 2 disabled) I hope the base will fall during the next attack. But my troops needs rest. Lots of it. Two of the IDs are more or less shot with disruption and fatigue over 50. Once the armor recovers I might try an attack with only armor. ------------------------ Mindanao ------------------------ Second attack at Davao goes in. Results are good but my troops will need to rest. Very annoying with the movement bug sending 1 ID and all armor the wrong way. quote:
Ground combat at Davao (79,91) Allied Deliberate attack Attacking force 33160 troops, 798 guns, 851 vehicles, Assault Value = 1224 Defending force 12302 troops, 116 guns, 50 vehicles, Assault Value = 190 Allied engineers reduce fortifications to 2 Allied adjusted assault: 686 Japanese adjusted defense: 925 Allied assault odds: 1 to 2 (fort level 2) Combat modifiers Defender: terrain(+), experience(-) Attacker: Japanese ground losses: 1522 casualties reported Squads: 9 destroyed, 98 disabled Non Combat: 3 destroyed, 24 disabled Engineers: 5 destroyed, 10 disabled Vehicles lost 13 (9 destroyed, 4 disabled) Units destroyed 1 Allied ground losses: 231 casualties reported Squads: 1 destroyed, 43 disabled Non Combat: 0 destroyed, 17 disabled Engineers: 0 destroyed, 4 disabled We also accidently closed Naga AF using B29s. No CAP luckily! ------------------------ Kendari ------------------------ Looks like Erik is trying to lift out the stranded Transports. Hopefully I can catch him tomorrow!
