Sure it's a wonderful riot of autumn colors

... but with the property ringed by birches, there is also a hellish amount of leaves to rake :-/

I wish I had a leafblower so I could just blow everything out into the creek.

If I had a stick, and license to beat every idiot that opens his fat gob on the Internet... I'd wear either the stick or my arm down to the size of a toothpick, and not make much of a dent in the problem...

It's still that stupid price whining thread about the new Command game. It's now 22 pages long, and after it was kicked from the Command forum to General Discussion, somebody said it had "been swept under the rug, but the message was out"...

Hi Per.

Beaudy the Wonder Deaugy is learning to fly. I got a harness for him and I clip him into the right seat on the plane. He's totally digging it. I have to clean the dog slobber off the the canopy after I land. He absolutely loves it.

Ciao. JWE

Question for my American brethren: is "Good Ole Boy" used in Texas, or is it only in the southern states further to the east?

That's wonderful to hear, John!

Give him a scratch behind the ears from me, please!

I can think of at least one Waylon Jennings song with that in it ... pretty sure it is used there.

I'm futzing around with one of the weirder 30s Jap ship designs, Hiraga's Kongo replacement. Not looking forward to making the ship shil and side...

Definitely used outside of Texas. The "Good Ole Boy" network is very strong in Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky and Georgia.

I've been meaning to ask you (snicker...) "How's your aspen?" (chortle chortle...)

Lovely looking area. I'm tempted to go fishing in that creek...

Thanks, T. I hadn't seen it before, but will now have to add my wisdom to the collective. Delightful.

Let me know if the knee-jerk Barilla 'boycott' continues so I can stock up too.

I can't see those other ingredients in the pan that you list. I'm stuck on how much bacon is there. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.

Good evening, everyone. Cutting corners on my OCS Case Blue and GBII today. Four trays done, about eight more to go!

+1

My family is from the Barilla end of Italy ... guess I'll have to google to find out which nutjobs are boycotting it ...

Being on a non-flour food plan I don't need any pasta right now, but if and when I start using it again, I guarantee it will be Barilla!
