Just played the tutorial, of course I had no time to read the manual, just had to try the game. I have to get used to the hex size was to slow in getting to the VP's, but smashed the Soviets. Lucky to have lost only a few tanks and men, but not enough to win the game. My challenger's were really good, well placed behind a smoke screen and hammered the Soviets, but once that hind popped up I started to lose tanks fast. A little pincer move around the woods in the top and caught a few HQ's. The next Soviet advance will be on foot. I think I will build a timer into my pc so that it shuts down just after bedtime, so no long nights. This just one more turn game could be addictive. Will read the manual tomorrow and try again. This might become a fun game to play, after learning all the nitty gritty parts of it. Glad I bought it. Mat
