Took Warspite Junior to White Hart Lane for the first time on Thursday, for the Europa League 2nd Leg against Dinamo Tblisi.

Glad to see she really enjoyed it

Let's hope she feels the same when undertaking the 25 minute walk back to Seven Sisters tube, in the cold, and the rain, after we've lost 0-1 to a team we should have beaten

Are you going with your cruisers to watch the football derby?

Noooooo! Two reasons - a) getting a ticket is practically impossible for a big game like that, and b) I would not take them, at their age, to a big game like that on safety grounds.

I see AIK drew with Djurgardens (Spelling?). Not helpful in trying to get 3rd place How many games left?

Okie. Any plans to go with them on another game then?

Five matches left and 2 points behind the 3rd place.

Sometimes I wonder how the referee judge events. It this case there was not even a yellow card.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hl-gkEMKBkc

And to me it looks like the goalkeeper saves and that the striker has time to jump over the GK but does not even attempt to avoid him. I even wonder if it is intentional. Therefore, in my humble opinion, the red card should have been used on the striker.

They won't be able to get to another Europa League game - Thursday night is Piano lessons. If our season collapses (as usual) I may be able to get tickets for a PL game, but that will be difficult while we are doing well. So perhaps in a couple of weeks

A point today against Chelsea - we were hanging on at the end. Won the first half but were destroyed in the second....

Torres unlucky to be sent off but he should have been off for violent conduct about 10 mins earlier.

I say again, what the hell does Nacer Chadli do?? Why did we buy him?

So the Spurs are in the first spot at the moment. I hope you get used to that feeling.

Arsenal overtake us on goal difference so long as they don't lose to Swansea (0-0 at half time) and move 2 points clear if they win. I need Ramsey and Giroud to do something to rescue my rubbish fantasy score, but would be quite happy if not and Swansea nick one!

Januzaj, two goals, not bad for his first start. At least it won't be three losses in a row.

Finally our team is done. Maybe now people here can realize that the reason Norway was rather good in -94 and -98 was due to the players we had at the time, and that for the moment we really suck and do not belong in any championship.

Sorry to heat that - yes for a time Norway really punched above their weight - as England knows to its cost....

Not really if you look at the team we had.
Torstvedt in goal - Tottenham
Grodås in goal - Chelsea/Tottenham/Schalke04
Bratseth in defence - Werder Bremen "legend"
Bjørnebye in defence - Liverpool
Berg in defence - Blackburn/Man.Utd
Johnsen in defence - Man.Utd
Leonardsen in the middle - Liverpool/Wimbledon/Tottenham/Aston Villa
Bohinen in the middle - Nott.Forest/Blackburn/Derby
Mykland in the middle - Panathinaikos/1860 München/FC København
Solskjær up top - Man.Utd "legend"
Flo up top - Chelsea/Rangers/Sunderland/Siena/Leeds

So, actually we did not really over perform as we had a very solid team at the time (the players above played regularly for their sides) , it was just that no one really understood that fact since we had been ranked rather low in the FIFA system up to that point.
Luckily it now seems we have a new "golden generation" in our U21 lads

I was talking about Norway as a nation punching above their weight - not the individual players.

BTW: Erik the Viking was a White Hart Lane the other day for the Dinamo Tblisi game and was interviewed at half time. Got a great reception from the Tottenham faithful.

Well I was a nervous wreck, 1 goal up and a draw would not suffice. We had to win. Maybe it's living in Germany with all we always get to the next round mentality, just gets on my nerves. I wish that they would really get smashed, but they do have a good goalie and strikers that make up for their bad defense.

At least I get to watch some Brazil 2014 next year as an England fan.

Sweden scored 7 goals in our two games against Germany. But Germany made 9 goals in those two games and could have made more.

Germany should be concerned with their weak defence because they will encounter teams stronger than Sweden and then they might not score enough to compensate for the goals they concede.

I would have preferred England. That would have been fun match to watch.

But since that is not going to happen then I am glad as long as we avoid Portugal. If I have to pick one then I would select Ukraine because I am still a bit annoyed with our performance against them in the Euro 2012 match.
