Formosa: WJD transports were spied moving West about 120 mi from Taihoku. Taihoku mouseover showed 2 BB's. This was not credible..so Newcastle and 3 USN DD's were ordered to raid the harbor (Somerville in charge). A pleasant time was had by all. There is the awkward bit about why a RN cruiser is operating near Formosa. I think she was in the repair yard until recently.
