Why no opportunity to save and adjust Army aft er battles in the elf Campaign?

Some campaigns start with a sequence (2 I believe) of scenarios without the army management screen in between, which can be pretty confusing. You'll have to save during the battles.

It's for the situation in the storyline, but you'll return in the encampment at the end of the Battle for Delenfel (Mission 2).
