I like this song and I like Sandy Lam, but I have no clue what she is singing. I know it's about her loving someone that isn't there, I think.

Ah. Great movie. The memories. To think of all the ta's ruined making it.

From one jerry reed song to another. Song always meant something to me especially considering the circumstances

Patches

And I posted this in another thread but it belongs here. A buddy of mine I met many years ago and phenomenal blues guitarist with a studio mastered live recording with one of his bands.

Right music lovers. How about we set out our all time top 20 toons. We are about to be marooned on a desert island and these 20 songs are the only ones you will ever hear again.

What do you choose and why? Who fancies going first? Doesn't have to be all 20 in one hit.

Okay I will lead off - in no particular order:

1/20 - Arcade Fire - Ready to Start

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwdUVjyxWrM

An upbeat number (unlike most of my choices). A qualitee toon all the way through, but the last 45 seconds or so are absolutely superb. A great album and the best song from it.

Very good Sir, I'll go next.

Its a song bout the whole world always fighting over the smallest things. A spoonful of this or that is a Southern black saying usually meaning something very insignificant. It does not mean drugs. Love the sharp guitar.

'It could be a spoonful of water
Save ya from the desert sand
But one spoon of a little '45
Save you from another man'

Spoonful

A little overplayed in pop retro culture... but who cares, it's still one of the most awesome rock songs ever.
