Hi guys,

Conflicts. Specifically, schedule conflicts starting this Saturday morning. I have to:
- go to a double-header basketball game that my youngest is playing in
- go to a dinner and watch a play tonight that my oldest kid is in
- watch the KC Chiefs take on Denver tomorrow night at a friend's house with both families
- go to church and take the family to dinner (normal Sunday drill)
- run to Home Depot and get a new flapper for a toilet that is running on-and-off, and then fix it
- cut grass and rake leaves which is long over due
- get oil changed on one of the vehicles
- if I can squeeze it in, make a run to the dry cleaner and drop off some clothes
- clean out a downspout on one of the gutter corners that seems to be clogged and overflowing
- put in a couple of hours voluntary overtime for work, trying to figure out a performance issue with a database
- put in a couple of more hours overtime sifting through resumes that I "promised" myself I would get to Friday

And, perhaps most importantly, I have to shepherd a resupply/reinforcement convoy to Port Moresby in April '42 that is passing through "Indian territory" and whose success is dicey, even against the AI.

I just hate when real life interferes with my command responsibilities!

Regards,
Feltan

Can't see any problems. IMHO, resupply convoys ALWAYS has priority.

S'up guys? A "retreat" at work today. Oh goody.

Hey Chicken Dude! Any feedback from your interview yet?

Had a second phone interview earlier this week. They've asked us to come out and look at properties in the area that would be to our liking. When I next return, they'll have a final offer for my consideration.

Saw "Gravity" in 3-D last night. Superb cinematography and a tour de force for Sandra Bullock. Very good movie. In Warspite1 language, it was "stonkingly good".

Two hour karate workout this morning. Ugh. Shower and fix lunch for the wife unit and kiddos. Finish an AE turn. At 3:30 take the kids to "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" while the wife unit catches a nap.

Brownie points, gents. It's all about the brownie points.

One thing we both agree on!

Cleaned up the honey-do list this morning. First thing she will find when getting home is the new door knob on the front door. Replaced the sticky one.

I like Sandra Bullock. I would give up a couple fingers for a chaste weekend alone with her and a limb for a wet and slippery opportunity.

btw, an doing a serious gratin dauphinoise from a recipe from Francois (fcharton) along with some lamb.

Maybe I could entice Sandra Bullock with a taste. I would feed it to her on my freshly washed fingers and thrill to the velvet embrace of her warm, enveloping, lips

Good Morning, for our friends in the Mid-Western region of the North American Continent, keep a weather eye out this day! Good potential for storms that are tornadic in nature.

Is that a word? Did you just 'adjectiveize' a noun? Are you allowed to do that without a permit?

It's all the fault of us Gulf Coast southrons. It's 82 and I'm out and about in shorts a flip-flops. The warm and humid (pregnant with moisture) air from the Gulf is pushing North. The Canadian/Arctic high pressure air mas is pushing South (jet stream delivery). Where they collide is gonna be destitively whackaroo.

Mass times velocity times differential potential energy. Physics still rules. Energy, unfortunately, takes many kinetic forms, and where E=big, it's duck and cover time.

No, I am neither a meteorolgist nor a climatoligist. Just a simple long-distance, off-shore, sailboat racer that needs to understand weather patterns and what they are likely to do.

[ed] But I do think that me and Sandra Bullock (if she's agreeable) could generate sufficient, low-level, local heat to disturb/dilute the N/S air mass collision in a local radius. If you are on the line of the Front, please call Sandra and tell her she has an opportunity to save many lives, within your region's radius. I'm sure she will thank you. I will thank you, too

Don't need no stinkn' permit: Mirriam-Webster: Definition of TORNADIC: relating to, characteristic of, or constituting a tornado <tornadic winds> <a tornadic storm>
