i was looking at aircraft and realize that there are some stats that arn't mention anywhere or i missed it somewhere

1-beside a\c weapon name there is "effect" with a number
anyone know what it means?

2-also beside "effect" there is a set of letter like "INT", anyone have a list of what they mean???

3- also is there anyway to know what are the damge cause by
bombs and torpedoes???? whats the difference between a 200lb and a 1000lb bombs beside having 2 different name cause i dont
see any difference ingame, last night i've droped 6 1000lbs
bombs on a AP and it didn't sank,

4- Anyone know how armor work? when a gun hit a plane with armor, does armor value reduce penetretion attack??
any idea of the mechanic?

I can reply to some points (somewhat vaguely)

1. Effectiveness (I assume). Bigger guns have higher ratings as they do more damage when they hit.

2. Location of the weapon (ie: where it can shoot). You see ones like TT (top turret), F (foreward) etc. INT means it can't shoot at you, gotta be dropped on you I think.

3. Very dependant on where the bomb hits. An AP is a huge Cargo Ship, and they take a lot of punishment before going down to bomb hits generally. Remember the HMS Hood? A critical hit causes major damage, a regular bomb hit causes some damage and a fire, the fire will cause additional damage that may in turn cause the ship to sink later. While a single bomb hit may take out a destroyer, large transports take a lot of punishment...

4. When watching bomb attacks on ships, you'll see the odd DECK HIT message, which means the bomb failed to penetrate the armor. I would assume that this same calculation is being made when flak is unloading on the planes, and you'll notice that B-17's seem to have an infinite lifespan (high durability coupled with armor) vs a A6M2 which is made of cloth and paper and gets shot down by a gust of wind :(
