Status: offline 		Ok so my old laptop has died on me and I have this game on it, is there a way to redownload without paying? I have the CD key from when I purchased it and the recipt email so is it possible to get a new download link?
However I am using windows 8.1 is the game even compatible with it?

I've lost my .exe files of Rise of Prussia, I followed the istructions that I found
at this link (ID 8, I asked for new download link by 'Help Desk') and they give me
another download link in ten minutes.

You can try to go to 'Options' and manage the 'Processor affinity'. It worked for me:
