Did they ever let you take the "penetration aids" to local pubs to improve the chance of success?

A few sticky greens is the best "penetration aid". Although the "ladies" of Helensburgh seemed to have developed their own defences against such things.

Urban Dictionary

quote:

1. sticky green

Weed,dope,mary jane*, marijuana

Man i need some of that sticky green stuff

*This expression has not been used since Joe Friday used it on Dragnet. Most people will not know what the Hell you are talking about.

You need to use the 4th rotor, you deciphered it wrong.

I think he's from the British Columbia branch of the family. There was some unseemly business with missing funds or some such thing. Likely he grew up in hemp clothes as a proto-hippie on the Gulf Islands somehwere.

Another raid over Rangoon to pretty good effect. At least one Liberator II lost. If I had to guess I would say ALSP is trying to shut down Rangoon airfield prior to landing at Moulmein.
JJ just does not have a sufficient number of fighters.

Raid detected at 39 NM, estimated altitude 12,000 feet.
Estimated time to target is 14 minutes

Liberator II: 1 destroyed, 2 damaged
Wellington B.X: 4 damaged
B-24D1 Liberator: 4 damaged

Then USAAF arrives and get's the milk run. No more CAP.

Supply not required to repair damage to bases.

But you might be eating up their supply with supply depot hits.

Milo wasn't thinking. Instead of having his hapless sidekick sign the drawing, he oughta open up an auction. I'll bet that Yamashiro would be willing to bid quite high to ensure his name isn't proudly etched on the drawing. Having the jihadis attack Hideki Tojo? Priceless.

Yamashiro is a battleship. Tojo is an airprane. It is an interesting idea. OSS fakes an affront to the Prophet (PBUH,IBEW,BPOE) allegedly committed by Japan-mens and then send in jihadi cheerleaders to the Southern PI and DEI and Malaysia. The problem would be to turn it off when the war is over.

Then we bomb both praces. Raids over Taihoku are quite effective. Not so much over Naha.

The problem is the B-17's have to fly from Batan Is (level 5) and the B-24's from Aparri (level 6). You just can't sustatin the heavies from these airfields for long.

Aparri is still building but Batan Is is maxed out.

Karenko is at 4.17 and Miyako-jima at 3.9. Miyako might even make level 5 before we are ready to land at Okinawa.

Not sure where the fighters over Formosa are coming from. According to recon. Taihoku and Takao have been emptied of fighters.

Maybe China? Maybe the other bases on Formosa?

Ditto Okinwawa. Recon shows no fighters at Naha or Nago.

Just discovered something. Shemya is a West Coast base. This frees up all the restricted USN bombers squadrons on dangerous duty in Oahu and San Diego and San Francisco.

Even better, we have 85 PB4Y-1's sitting around under canvas. They can be our force on Shemya, putting them
within range of Paramashiro-jima.

How is the defensive armor on the PB4Y-1?

I fear a grievous startegic error has been made.

I had homemade pea soup for breakfast and some rearry good chile for lunch. Only afterward did I consider the "logistical" implications. So far, nothing, but it may just be the calm before the storm.
