Status: offline 		In the second round of air battles the Bf-110's fail to defend against the multitude of Allied aircraft.
The convoys are also quickly sent to the bottom. The Kriegsmarine will not be able to reinforce England, much less keep them in supply. The German fleet flees back to Brest.

Status: offline 		In the Red Sea the Italians finally have some air cover, although it can only get to the #2 box. Apologies again for the poor quality screenshots.

Naturally the Italians choose a surface combat

Status: offline 		While the carriers flee, the Malaya shields them from the large Italian squadron. The outcome is inevitable, but HMS Malaya's heroic stand will not be forgotten.

Status: offline 		OKH agrees that at the moment, an invasion of England is impossible in the face of Allied naval superiority. The 1st Infantry Corps is evacuated by the BV-222 wing.

Status: offline 		In Russia, the surrounded Russians corps near Penza are finally destroyed. Guderian attacks towards Perm, one of only four original Soviet factory cities left (the others are Tashkent, Smolensk and Novosibirsk). All must be taken to conquer the USSR.

Status: offline 		Rommel shows when it is useful to convert shatter results into a retreat. Shattered units will reappear as reinforcements next turn. Units forced to retreat that cannot, are destroyed instead.

Somewhere during that turn I forgot to mention that Vichy France was collapsed, and of course Yugoslavia was aligned by Germany. Many of the French ships were scuttled in Toulon harbour.
Here are the destroyed units for the May/Jun 1942 turn.

Status: offline 		Here are the ships sunk up to this point. I have whited out those that were scrapped at the beginning.
As I mentioned before, I scrap destroyed warships, rather than add them back to the force pools.

Status: offline 		Love your dum counterattacks in Russia. Attacking for the purpose of what? Dis organizing your own armies? Even if you win an attack you got nothing to exploit the possible victory. Better to keep your troops organized and use defensive terrain. Anyway its your AAR

http://www.getpaint.net/

It's excellent for processing photos and other images too.

Status: offline 		Apologies for the long delay. Christmas and New Year and work have intervened massively in my time available both to play and to post screenshots. So I'll try to catch up, I've been playing the game rather than posting, so there's a bit of a backlog, and I may forget stuff that happened, so I'm sorry if some things don't make much sense.

So where were we? The beginning of Jul/Aug 1942.
The last Russian attack was indeed a pretty dumb attack. Fortunately for them the turn ended AND the Allies got the initiative. Naturally, the Soviets headed for the hills

Status: offline 		The Western Allies put to sea in their first impulse, and in their first impulse the Japanese and Italians also sent their fleets into the various sea zones. Disturbingly for the Allies, the Japanese had arrived in the Arabian Sea.
