Took the little warspites to JLS's final concert (baby warspite has been a fan from the start - voting for them on X Factor when she was 7).

Not really my kind of music, but they had two stand-out toons

well someone was kind enough to get me a nice pair of headphones[really nice] for xmas so that means music to break them in. I also received some beverages ....so we'll be all over the map song wise. Since the new year is coming up and to me that is a time for reflection on the years gone bye...... i was trying to remember what it was like to be a teenager as i have a couple of teenagers now [16,17] and we're not exactly getting along as i'd like.

" do you remember what its like to lose control" Judas Priest ... Parental Guidance.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsIfkdDnRf4

Def Leppard .. Let it Go .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4asg10LHkk

title says it all "Muther fuker of the year" i've felt like that a time or two. Motley Crue ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnlL5ExbJ0Q

time to bring it down... just a little

Testament... "Return to Serenity" .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DDWFj1tiJM

cover of " Return to Serenity" by Leah ... different, but great voice, you decide which you like better...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooCbvt64Mms

Live ... "Run To The Water" ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5dgoazQ8UU
Queensryche " Anybody Listening" ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahQwHmmIYcg
This has always struck me a one of the most beautiful songs i have heard, so i'll give you both versions. It's fitting as i am at the a crossroads with my teenagers. "here I stand at the crossroads edge" ... Long version first.
Queensryche ..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsjN1Plo_GY
Queensryche.. short version, piano ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrokWXe0tfI&list=RDahQwHmmIYcg

Stevie Nicks ... "Landslide" ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzsf72lYLo0

time to segue to other music
" let me take you far away"
Scorpions ... Holiday ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBzd79EGxng
and lastly
Bobby Mcferrin.... "Don't worry be happy" .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-diB65scQU

Peace and Happy Holidays to everyone.

Wodin,

I do indeed. I have a huge variety in musical taste. There is very little that turns me off.

Got Rome Total War + Alexander for Christmas.

One of my favorite bluesman Luther Allison. Had a style on his own and a boomin voice.

Living in the House of Blues

A couple country boys doing an acoustic version of Tampa Reds song from 1940, which was a melody repeat of Things 'Bout Comin' My Way from an unknown time possibly 31. Elmore James made the song popular from his 57 recording and many others have re-recorded it through the years.

Scalehound- It hurts Me Too

edit to put Luthers version right before his death
Luther Allison - It Hurts Me Too 1997
