I'd like to see the Caspian navies included

First of all a couple platforms for Kazakhstan:

Missile Corvette Project 250 (2012-0) 3 examples 1 from 2012, 1 from 2013, 1 from 2014.

link in Russian, the specifics are easy i think, but I can translate if needed

Gunboat

Sea Dolphin (Camsuri Class) x3 from 2006-

Love the game, great work devs!

A couple of no hurry Canadian entries since most of these are available under other nations (sorry I can't post links as I need to wait seven days from my first post apparently):

CC-177 Globemaster III (I'm sure it is the same as the other entries for the C-17 but if the Aussies get their own entry so should we lol)
CH-146 Griffon helicopter
CH-147F Chinook
CH-113 Labrador SAR helicopter
CP-140A Arcturus (an Aurora without the ASW suite - this might already be in the DB, I can't remember)
CC-115 Buffalo

And a few Cold War additions:

CF-101 Voodoo
CF-105 Arrow (it would be great to test out this potential interceptor)
CP-121 Tracker

Thanks. No rush...I just think it might be interesting to do a couple of early Cold War scenarios with Japanese vessels. The "alternate history" assumptions here might be that Japan was allowed to keep more of its ships after the war because America and the U.K. were worried about Soviet (and later Chinese) intentions. The patrol vessels were available almost at once to help with mine sweeping operations (in fact, some were used for this) and then with surveillance missions, ASW missions, etc. and the larger ships, which had been kept in reserve, were reactivated, refitted, and sent back to work to patrol the Sea of Japan once the Korean War broke out.

Speaking of that, here is another platform I missed...

Nagato-class battleship

I cannot seem to find if it has been brought up, but wondering if you might at some point consider doing a ww2 database.. or even if CMANO is expected to be very good at that style of warfare. It seems to me that guns and torpedoes work well, but not sure about a world where they are the only options.

Paul does have some WWII era platforms in his db but would take some considerable time and effort to build a full WWII DB. On the application side we'd have to implement more with the sensor and gun models, smokescreens and a few other WWII specific things.

I tried, back in the 'poon days, to put together a scenario on the hunt for the Bismark, but, much as I liked Harpoon, it just couldn't do it very well. I could see CMANO being up to it.

More neutral/civilian mobile/unarmed contacts, ie, transports such as Boeing 737 or a school bus/passenger bus. Also a suicide bomber that doesn't have a 1nm weapon radius and that feel the effects of their own weapon (death).

I'd very much like to see the Boeing ScanEagle UAV.

I don't know if this can be modeled, but in game terms the ScanEagle should require neither hangar space nor a helipad.
They've been launched from vessels as small as 25m, which have neither, in testing.

On a related note, the US Mark V "MAKO" Special Operations Craft would be a nice addition and would go well with the ScanEagle.

My first post so first of all, thanks for a great game with a huge potential!

I would like to request the following to be added to the Swedish inventory:

TP 85 [Sud Aviation SE-210 Caravelle III] -- Sweden (Air Force), 1972-1998, 2x
Type: Area Surveillance (ELINT)
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sud_Aviation_Caravelle

A 201 HMS Orion -- Sweden (Navy), 1984-0
Type: AGI - Intelligence Gathering Ship
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HSwMS_Orion_(A201)

Also, the following edits:

-> C-47 Dakota -- Sweden (Air Force) (CWDB) was operated until 1984 and should thus also be added to DB3000. It was also operated by 2 a/c for ELINT purposes between 1949-1972. The military designation was Tp 79.

-> AD-4W Skyraider -- Sweden (Air Force) wasn't an AEW but merely a drone tug operated by a civilian company 1962-1974 and should thus be moved (unarmed) to civilan.

Thanks a lot!

Hello guys, quick request for an upgrade of the existing Italian Tornado ECR(SEAD), first one was delivered in 2013 and called "ECR MLU"... They are now capable of using JDAMs and better Harms missiles (my guess is the "c" version)

And maybe add the Su30 to the Algerian rooster since they bought 46 of those to the russians.

Anyways thanks for your time

I really enjoy this game.
B-52 request. I've noticed the gun ranges, and radar ranges for the MD-9/ASG-15, fire control (gunnery systems) are incorrect. The MD-9 and ASG-15 were basically the same system. It had a two radar system. A search radar with a range of 10 nautical miles and a track radar with a range of about 4-5 miles. The guns were calibrated and fired for effect at 1 nautical mile (2000 yards). The Tall Tail (C-F)model had an optical system as part of the package. Where the ASG-15 G model system had a camera as a backup. The camera was disabled in 1972 during the ARC Light-Bullet Shot deployment. It never really worked. Small display screen, black and white display, not color. I never could really get the camera to work. It was fine on the ground, as there was enough contrast to see a decent picture. But at altitude all I saw was a blur on the screen. I can't comment on the MD-5 equipped B model B-52, as they were out of the inventory by the time I was flying. The 20mm equipped ASG-21 H model also fired for effect at 2000 yards. I flew as a gunner on the D,E,F & G models.

Hello. Long time lurker, first time writer on these forums. I haven't bought the game yet, but I will as soon as I overcome my fear of using credit cards online. I loved the Harpoon-series, and I have no doubt I will love this game too.

To the point: I'd like to see the swedish Särskilda operationsgruppen as well as the RBS-15 Mk. III in CMANO, if possible. Apologies if they're already there, I couldn't find them on the Baloogan Campaign Wiki.

RBS-15 mk3 could be found on:

F 260 Braunschweig and

Do you have any unclassified data for armament and equipment for SOG?

A couple of requests that I haven't seen in the DB;
1)Mark V Special Operations Craft
http://www.navy.mil/navydata/fact_display.asp?cid=4200&tid=1700&ct=4
2)Naval Special Warfare Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB)
http://www.navy.mil/navydata/fact_display.asp?cid=4200&tid=2200&ct=4

And I'm curious if the stealth helo in Operation Geronimo will be implemented soon?
Thanks, Steve

And I'm curious if the stealth helo in Operation Geronimo will be implemented soon?
Thanks, Steve

I believe these were implemented some time ago. Make sure you're editing with the latest db.

I would like to see some larger - battalion sized ground units if you get a chance.

There are generic Inf Coy and Inf Bn in the database, but they are just placeholders. You would have to edit them to add weapons, sensors, etc. Also, I don't know how much damage they can take...it looks like they can be wiped out by the same level of damage that would take out a platoon, and that might affect gameplay somewhat.

They do have a generic platoon, too, but it is a Recon platoon and somewhat more elite than normal platoons (i.e., less visible and more likely to get the first shot)...I've requested a generic standard infantry platoon, and I understand it is on the "to do list" so I hope we will see it added soon.

In fact, I'm hoping they will add a variety of generic platforms that people can customize by adding sensors, weapons, etc. These have also been requested and, as I understand it, logged. So I'm hoping we'll see them someday.
