But best of all, the x-rays showed I had a cervical rib, i.e. a free rib at the top of my ribcage/neck. Any one of those three things could be causing my symptoms or it could be none.

Coming soon(ish), more tests with an MRI and MRA scan in my future. And maybe some surgery. But no Falklands! I'm also imagining/experiencing occasional pain in my shoulder area after being told of my bonus rib.

I can report it's 104F at Lake Powell, the fishing is good, water in the upper half is murky but the lower half is crystal clear, I can still water ski, and the lake was going up a foot (yes, 12 inches) a day, which broke the houseboat loose 2 times in seven days. I can also report the river conditions are most optimal for river rafting in the high Colorado Rockies.

Work must have missed me, there were 1200 plus emails in my box this morning.

Four more hours of this, and then I plan on going home and either 1) have a nervous breakdown, or 2) collapse in bed without letting the dog out (I hate this option, btw), or 3) all of the above.

BTW, have you, possibly, tried the electro stimulation (i.e. TENS)?

I've not tried that yet, I should've used Mrs Dixie's one when she was pregnant! Now that I've had the test results back I'm wondering how many of the other little aches and pains I've had could be linked to my bonus rib. Or dodgy nerves. Or dodgy vertebrae.

Status: offline 		A nice view from Mallorca. A little hard getting up this view. 220 meters climb on 2200 meters horizontal. 1:10 in 30C degrees heat. Just a little sweaty when I got up.
