Smart_Bombs Not the new high-tech ones, we want the ones that kill all things on the screen ala Defender.

Showing my age a bit.

And don't forget health packs and power-ups!

This was a feature of PacWar. The trick was to generate an error while creating a TF. IIRC you selected create TF, then chose ship transfer rather than autoselect, then hit a non-functional key, then close the TF creation window. Then reopen the TF (which has no ships) and transfer in the vessels from port. Close the TF and reopen -- no ships! Then disband the TF then create a new one of same type in the port where you want the disappeared ships to materialize. Hey presto. Teleportation success!

Please tell me that you are a beta tester md. This is exactly what beta testers should do besides the standard shoot and record results stuff.

For the Japanese:
Seventh_Carrier - somewhat more limited counterpart to the Allied "Final_Countdown" which creates the 60,000 ton CV "HIJMS Yonaga" with a full air wing (including 3000hp super-A6Ms).

For the Allies:
They_Were_Expendable - decreases IJN surface gunnery accuracy by 50%, but only against USN PT boats.
Guns_Of_Navarone - destroys the largest caliber CD battery at one chosen Japanese base NOT in the Home Islands

Improvement to earlier suggestion:

For the Allies:

da*n_the_torpedoes Japanese torpedo dud rate increased 10%

[goes better with the historical context of Farragut's statement]

Actually, during the 2nd half of the campaign in the Pacific,
the "dud" rate for Japanese Torpedoes DID increase consider-
ably do to shoddy production standards brought on by the
demands of the war. Torpedoes are "hand crafted" weapons
systems, and while the US was identifying and correcting it's
initial problems the Japanese were developing all kinds of ways
to screw up their initially excellent design.
