I've notice a couple of bugs when trying to use the map editor.

There is no way to set the elevation levels to 0. I was trying to manually set lake hexes' elevation to 0 and noticed I could only do it if I selected visual hindrance first, adjusting the value to that to 0, then selecting elevation range again.

I was able to save the map at that point but noticed after loading the map, that while the on-map elevation levels for lake hexes are 0, in the status area they are still 99.

Cap'n D is tied up and probably unable to respond. I have forwarded your report to Rob for his review.

Hi Plodder. I will look into this early next week and see what I can do. I used to think the map editor was good enough for what it had to do but now I'm thinking it cries out for a total rewrite. If only my stupid day job didn't get in the way I could make it *sooooo* much better.

Take care, cheers, Rob
