DB 3000 issue for discussion and possible correction: According to Friedman, the Paveway III series LGB has a [probable] range of 3-5 nm, vice the 8 nm in the database. However, Friedman also notes the Paveway III has a 5:1 glide ratio, so that could justify the database game numbers, for releases at high altitude.
The Paveway II series (and I assume the Paveway I series, as both I and II use "full deflection" i.e., "bang bang" airfoils) are listed by Friedman as having 1-3 nm range, vice the 4 nm in the database.
I just wanted to raise this potential issue. Given the large difference between the database and Friedman, I would recommend getting some confirmation of the Friedman numbers before recommending a change, especially on the Paveway III series.
Friedman, Norman. The Naval Institute Guide to World Naval Weapon Systems, 1997-1998 Annapolis, Md: Naval Institute Press, 1998, pg. 253-54

From Jane's Air-Launched Weapons (2002):
- GBU-10 has a maximum range of 8 nm when released from an altitude of 30,000 ft.
- GBU-12 has a maximum range of 8 nm when released from an altitude of 30,000 ft.
- The Paveway II (UK) LGB (...) is credited with a maximum range of 8 nm when released from an altitude of 30,000 ft.

- GBU-24 has a maximum range of 9.98 nm when released from an altitude of 30,000 ft.
- When configured with the BLU-109/B warhead, the Paveway III (UK) LGB(...) is credited with a maximum range of 9.98 nm when released from an altitude of 30,000 ft.

Add Russian / Sovjet Ship "SSV-33 Ural".
SSV-33 Project 1941 "Ural"

#385, #1432, #805, #1733 "R 22 Viraat [Hermes]" has place for 110 large aircrafts (60x hangar, 50x open parking), that seems to be way to much for a 22000 ton carrier.

Thanks. I thought Friedman looked off, but because I didn't have the Jane's data, so I couldn't confirm my suspicion.

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/contract-signed-for-first-production-batch-of-f-35b-aircraft

UK F-35B has test carried the Paveway IV (http://wiki.baloogancampaign.com/index.php/DataWeapon?ID=519) Can we get this added as a loadout? I imagine that it would have a similar load out to the USMC F-35B (http://wiki.baloogancampaign.com/index.php/DataAircraft?ID=534) ie, two internal only, two internal long range and six external.

Thanks.

Further information here:

http://defense-update.com/20141127_f35b_uk_weapons_test.html#.VIGGZNWsXfp

shows that they have four external Paveway IV (presumably two internal as well?) for a maximum of six, shows two ASRAAM as well.

Found this photo of a "bagger" Merlin:

From this comment:

any chance of adding a Merlin HM.2 AEW version?

It was on Twitter back then, when Jean-Yves Le Drian (French MinDef)announced it.
https://twitter.com/Defense_gouv/status/535482565713727488

It's unsure yet if they will be actually bought or loaned.

These are the advertised role:

http://lignesdedefense.blogs.ouest-france.fr/archive/2014/11/20/12-mrtt-en-commande-pour-l-armee-de-l-air-12961.html

Interestingly another role will be C2:
http://lemamouth.blogspot.be/2014/11/emrttisrc2.html

That said, note that "first delivery is foreseen for 2018" so things can change 'till then.

...provides some really interesting information about the LCS follow-up ship, lasers on Block III Burke destroyers, rail guns (including a discussion of the railgun as an anti-aircraft weapon), etc. Perhaps some new platform variants could be added using the proposals in this study?

Database errors Swedish forces:

None off the Viggen aircraft should have the ability to mid-air refuel.
JAS 39 A/B also lacks this ability, the mid-air refueling were a abillity introduced with the C/D version
I also miss the 4xRB75 loadout
And the combined 2xRb75+2xBK90 loadout
I would post pics to support this claim, but I am not allowed to yet :(

The Strb 90HS should have the same 12.7/50 MG as the Strb 90H. During peacetime practice a 7.62mm FN MAG (aka ksp58) can be used instead of the the .50 calc M2HB.

Hi,
playing Hold the line and came across what I think is not correct. There is an air bridge from the US to Europe with different commercial planes, one of them is the commercial VC 10, when I order some planes to try to refuel from a close tanker the planes head to the commercial VC10 if it is closer than the tanker. Not sure if the commercial VC 10 can be fitted to tanker if needed in war time. Check the DB and in the properties sections it has refueling capabilities.
Thanks,
Francesco

SAM S-300 allows to determine the position of the aircraft - jammer, using the method triangulation. Two divisions exchange information on an azimuth noise in the automatic mode. Range direction finding - not less than 100 km.

The Iskander (Nato: SS-26 Stone) is a tactical ballistic missile system being manufactured by the Federal State Unitary Enterprise, Design Bureau of Machine Building, for the Russian ground forces. Iskander missiles were first test fired in 1996. The Russian Army acquired the Iskander-M extended-range ballistic missile system in 2006.
The Iskander mobile missile system can engage ground targets such as command posts and communications nodes, troops in concentration areas, air and missile defence facilities and fixed and rotary-wing aircraft at airfields.
The Iskander was developed in the 1990s to replace the decommissioned OTR-23 Oka (Nato: SS-23) missile system. Oka was retired from Russian service under the 1987 intermediate nuclear forces (INF) treaty.
Orders and deliveries of the Iskander ballistic missile system

"The Russian Defence Ministry plans to buy up to 120 Iskander-M tactical systems."
Russia acquired six Iskander systems in 2010. The first system was deployed in the Western Military District.
The Russian Defence Ministry plans to buy up to 120 Iskander-M tactical missile systems to equip at least five missile brigades of Iskander-M complexes by 2016.
Belarus, Iran and Libya have also expressed interest in procuring Iskander missiles.
Iskander-E export ballistic missile system

Iskander missile system is produced in three variants. Iskander-E is an export version designed to meet the guidelines of MTCR (missile technology control regime). It has a maximum firing range of 280km and circular error probable (CEP) of 30 to 70m. It is also equipped with an inertial guidance system.
Iskande-M extended-range missile system

Iskander-M is an extended range missile developed for the Russian Army. The missile has an expected range of more than 400km. It is equipped with inertial and optical guidance systems for improved firing accuracy and electro-optical seeker for self-homing capability.
Iskander-K cruise missile system

Iskander-K is the latest variant in the Iskander series of missiles. The missile system is equipped with R-500 cruise missile. It was first test fired from the mobile Iskander platform in May 2007. It attained a speed of approximately 250m a second at altitudes of 100m.

The Iskander-K system was tested on 29 May 2007. The missile was launched from a modified Iskander launcher and flew at 250 meters/second for 24 minutes at an altitude of 100 meters. The missile also performed several maneuvers during its flight, suggesting a countermeasures capability. Making the [obviously flawed] assumption of constant speed the quoted figures give a range of approximately 224 miles / 360 km.

R-500 tests was to be finished in 2008, whereas in 2009 these missiles was to be used to equip the Iskander tactical missile systems. The tests of the new missile took place at the Kapustin Yar site in the Astrakhan Region of Russia. First Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov said that R-500 was a high-accuracy missile, capable of destroying ballistic missile defense systems and air defense systems. Ivanov also said that “these tests were preliminary and it is very pleasant to realize that they were successful”.

At MAKS-2007 a modified Iskander launcher was displayed with four long and narrow launch tubes that, according to Vympel on this site, are for the Club-M missile. The four-tube launch vehicle seen at MAKS 2007 is the Morinformsystem-AGAT Club-M coast-defence system, which was selected in preference to a design proposed by NPP Start, from Yekaterinburg. The latter was shown at the International Maritime Defence Show (IMDS) 2005 at St Petersburg between 29 June and 3 July 2005. The prototype uses a chassis based on the MZKT-7930 8 x 8 vehicle, and the capacity of four rounds was dictated by weight restrictions. The definitive version will have six rounds, and be able to fire 3M-54KE and 3M-54KE1 anti-ship missiles and the 3M-14KE land-attack missile. Like the prototype, the entire system – SPU (Samokhodnaya puskovaya ustanovka) launching vehicles, the MSU (Mashina svyazi i upravleniya) communication and control vehicle and the TPM (Transportno puskovaya mashina) transporting and launching vehicle – will use the MZKT-7930 wheeled chassis.
