Feb 25, 1943 INDIA: The allies attack and, boy, they hit hard. Catching me off guard, Erik goes for Tricomalae as soon as the KB-1 moves south. The forces used for this air operation are really scaring... several hundreds of fighters and bombers...and the coordination...Boy, Obvert knows his stuff, that's for sure. It was a perfect operation for the allies. First the sweeps+LRCAP...lots of them! Then the escorted 4Es to hit the fields...and then, in the afternoon, the escorted DBs against my ships... hat's off to him! Then, near Esperance, we've had a better look at the enemy's landing force... .... almost the whole pacific fleet seems to be there!...but no CVs... seems like they're just CVEs....mmmmmm...... The only good news of the day comes from the road to Kunming...
