WINDOWS 7 /64 FRENCH version

at launch, the game crash after few second giving this error message : look below



I try to play on my lab top , same error message and a friend also have the same issue on his computer
I suspect that some last update of windows 7 create this issue
I tried to install again all the game 1.38 and version before without any succes

I get a similar error with my English version of CoH. I have Win 7 as well with latest patch.

I just purchased all 3 Conflict of Heroes titles and they do not work.
I have the exact same start up crash as PenCapChew.
Come on guys. Any idea how soon this will be fixed?
How about a refund?

Hey VPaulus,

That patch has solved my issue. I was able to log into the game without any crashes. Hopefully this patch will work for others. Thank you for taking the time to address the problem quickly.

I get this same error when trying to play the demo and I cannot seem to apply the patch to the demo.

Since I cannot play the demo to see if this works on my system, I am not willing to purchase the game.

can you update the demo?

Since I expirience same problem (SpriteFont issue) I have question is there a possibility to fix this in demo version?
Am I somehow able to run demo?
Does 1.39 patch apply for demo?

I have tried to install 1.30 patch (1,23Gb) on my demo but it asks for serial number...

Any ideas how to launch the demo on Win7 64-bit?

I've installed the 1.39 patch but the error is still there. Installed also in a win xp sp3 pc with same results... I PAYED for it how can I play IT !!!

EDIT: found a log where it says that can't find a folder "resources" in the game installation folder, and infact it doesn't exist...

Ok resolved by the excellent team of support. After opening a ticket they've sent me the download link for the game then updateed to v1.39. Now it works fine.

Not sure the demo of COH 1.8 is still being supported here but i couldn't get my version of the demo to work. The patches ask for a serial number so that didnt work.Its the same "Spritefont" error screen that everyone gets when you click to start the game. Any ideas?
