Status: offline 		With temps below 20 for the next two days and lows near -10, our HVAC unit has gone on the fritz. Called the company that maintains it, but got voicemail. It is a mom & pop business, I expect them to be busy. Good thing we have gas logs that can keep the house somewhat comfortable.

Well, there are others he is taking care of that have had their electrical service pulled from their house by falling trees. So, there are others in worse situations. He did call me and assured me he would be out as soon as he could. That is good enough for me. We have alternatives.

Same here. It was 5 or 6 degrees warmer for the overnight low temp than predicted, and now tonight's forecast low is about 5 above zero instead of zero or -2. Break out the sunscreen and flip flops!

Schani, -25F was the lowest I ever saw in my 5 winters but that was waaaaaay down in southern MN, in Rochester.

Status: offline 		I knew it was going to be lower than predicted. So I had the fireplace making things very nice inside. Though I did make a few trips to bring in more firewood.

Spring is on the distant horizon. April? May? We'll see.
