3 land combats are declared (China, Manchuria and Egypt)

Attack in China is a calculated risk, Japanese HQ alone is too good not be attacked when all other troops near him are disorganized.
Attack in Manchuria has 1% chance to cause casualty to USSR.
Attack in Egypt... Well, desperate times need desperate actions. With a good roll CW is doing fine. With a bad roll Italy is free to take Egypt any countries in Middle East.

Does Japan want to use HQ defensive support and is it going to be assault or blitz?

Forgot to say earlier some rail moves:

France rails GARR from Nice to Lille.
USSR rails GARR to Vladivostok, CAV and INF from Murmansk to German front.

USSR rebases IL-4 to Manchuria.
CW rebases Gladiator on CV in North Sea. Spitfire is rebased closer to better transporter in South Africa. Beaufort is rebased to Malta.
France is setting air forces so that they can reach each hex in Belgian front line.

France uses the last HQ and reorganizes artillery and ARM. Decision was based on what intelligence people told Germany will do next. Let's see if they were right...

Back to Axis.

Ouch! HQ by itself! I learned that the hard way a couple of times too! Sometimes it cant be helped, but I always defensive HQ support in a situation like that. I don't have the chart in front of me, would the extra point have mattered?

No, but Chinese would have lost one unit. That would have not been a problem.

In Japan, the marines assist the locals with some anti-partisan work.

Where do the Allies wish to fly ground support?

France will give ground support to clear hex west of Brussels. All France can hope is below average rolls. Bomber returns to same hex after laying some bombs.

I think USSR can't support Korean partisan, but if they can IL-4 will fly and return to same hex it took off. EDIT: I tested it, not possible as I thought.

France and China choose assault if possible.

If you decide to roll something else than totally horrible low numbers and my units are killed, save my artillery and AA gun. Kill MIL first and then INF, starting from the weakest one.

French bombers fly to support the attack west of Brussels. Korean partisan calls for assistance go unanswered by the Soviets (didn't come up as an option).

The final odds and they aren't great for the Germans but the best they can manage.

West of Brussels the Germans can, and do, launch a Blitz attack. It shatters the defence.

The wooded countryside of the Ardennes prevents the Germans using a Blitz. Yet another poor roll means it wouldn't have made much difference anyway.

Von Beck reorganisers 5 Inf/Mot and the 88mm.

Balbo reorganises the Italian Lnd.

Then, joy of joys, on a 2, the weather packs up.

M/J 1940 Allied 5

No DoW.

US pass, CW naval, France and China land, USSR Combined.

NAVAL
USSR sends two subs to Japanese coast to hunt CP's.
CW sends almost all ships to seas. The Queens are now in North Sea loaded with 4-1 GARR.
CW ships sails from Malta to Atlantic and German NAV is not able to find them (intercept roll 7).

Allies try to search in each three sea areas.

Japanese coast search is disappointment with Allied roll 8 and Axis roll 10.

Next Italian Coast. RN subs are hunting, does Italy want to fly a fighter to sea (no CW planes in the sea area).
