ORIGINAL: JohnOsb but why place grids on a hex game? The movement of the unit counters are still by hex and how would you read the grid lines? I've never seem grid numbers like those on the map. It's probably a matter of taste. Some of us have years of experience playing board games and other hex based (computer) war games, whereas others have a background in playing "simulators" (Steel Beasts Pro, Arma series, ...) and grid based computer war games (Combat Mission, Command Ops, Achtung Panzer/Graviteam Tactics, Wargame:*, and Flashpoint:Germany). Personally, I'm better at estimating distances on a grid based map than on a hex based map. @pzgndr: I'll see what I can do. The green November set you downloaded are the latest, and contain the same info as the earth tone set part of 2.06. Apparently, the grid + earth tone work best for you.
