The version compiled with C++2013 also needs the runtime installed on the target machine: http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/E/6/2E61CFA4-993B-4DD4-91DA-3737CD5CD6E3/vcredist_x86.exe
According to download page it's also supported under XP.

If it's recompiled with the 2010 version you need the matching runtime: http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/6/5/165255E7-1014-4D0A-B094-B6A430A6BFFC/vcredist_x86.exe

Dotnet 4.0 is the highest version supported under XP.

I have downloaded the C++2013, and executed it.
Then I have restarted the game. But it still shows the 1.02 version.

working on win 7.
Waht do you need we check AE??? Oil old issue? I mean what kind of feedback

a suggestion: will be usefull to have a list of ID, for example a list of aircrat ID (158 for He219...) or units.

I catch a bug I guess:
I`ve upgraded some NJ groups to He 219 and Ta 154. Scenario Nachjagd 43. They appear in the AF, but never take off when a order is given to them. They are useless.

Ok, i'll try it this evening.

When I tried your first release I get a message "it's not a Win32... Etc", and the game didn't started at all.
When I tried your second release I didn't get any message, the game was launched (started from the BTRLauncher), but only version 1.02

I'll try this third release and let you know what happend.

Of course. I will replay the scenario, didn´t save anything, just a quick game to test. I haven t played since a while, so, I couldn t remember a few things are working as intended or are bugs of the editor:
Scenario Nachtjagd 43 (short)
No damage recover: OIL AREA PORT no recovering points (scenario setting?)
2 squadrons upgrading to Figthers (Ju88C6 form NJ II/NJ 2 IIRC and Bf110 from luftflotte reich.)In the editor they re Nachtjagers.
I ll send you a savegame when get at home.

I have downloaded the EDBTR_DLL_067_Release_for_VC2012_XP file. I've unzziped it. I have executed the Redistibutable file. And I have launched the game from the Launcher exe.
The game launches. I don´t see any error message.
But it still loads the 1.02v

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Let's see if there is someone with XP OS that makes it run...

npsergio, I'll try to install XP OS on a virtual machine and figure out why EDBTR_Launcher won't work correctly.
Just gimme some time to do that.

Edit: EDBTR_Launcher doesn't either work on my virtual machine XP OS. I'm trying to fix that.

Texeiro, it seems that locations be repaired only in long campaigns,
but there is a bug if you change the group aircraft with the editor.
Haven't figured out yet what's wrong there.
edit: Ah, I had forgotten to adjust all of the individual planes of the group to the corresponding new type of aircraft; problem solved

good to hear that!
I confirm that short campaign version in Natchjag I y II is no working. I guess that is an original game bug.
In nachtjagd III the short version campaign (7 turns) is working.

There is a fixed v0.069 in my folder

Also there is a file called _Release_VC2010_XP_069 for Windows XP.
Cohimbra, npsergio, please test it.
Don't forget to install vcredist_x86_vc2010 AND vcredist_x86_vc2013, if you haven't already.

Tried Release_VC2010_XP_069 and the new 070 version, both don't work for me. Waiting for more feedback from xp owner. I don't know were is the issue (can't initialize the .exe application). And to be clear, I really don't want to made you crazy or boring about the xp issue, if you'll decide your tool working only with newest win, well, it's your choise; but if you can solve it I'll obviously very happy. Thanks again for your hard work.

edit: I've installed vcredist_x86_vc2010 & vcredist_x86_vc2013

Cohimbra, I really don't understand why v0.070 is not working on your XP OS.
It's compiled with platform toolset v100.
I've tried it on my virtual machine (VMware Workstation) with Windows XP installed. It's running fine there.
Here is a screenshot running v0.070 on my virtual machine!

I'm now curious if npsergio get it to run.

Do you have the same version of windows xp?
I mean 32 bit vs 64 bit.
I remember some issue related to this when i tried to run one editor
released in the past.

Sounds like the program still depends on some kind of external library like older dotnet or C++.
@AlterEgo - do you have dotnet installed in your XP VM? Any other C++ library than 2010/2013?

Ok, installed all in this list (except 4.0.3 dotnet upgrade) and it work!

Thanks to Denniss for pointed me in the right direction, known the right answer is the key to solve issues. After the last partition format I forgot to reinstall Service Pack 3 and Dotnet 4.0; installing them solved my issue.

A little suggestion for AlterEgo: maybe you can make first post of this thread updated after new releases, so one can go to the firt post and dowload the last version without search around the thread.

No, not at this time, but I have a dream to get rid of the main window
and write/use a new GUI for the game in the distant future.

Currently I'm working on improving/bug fixing the game and want to make the AI more challenging.
I have just fixed a bug where the roundels were not displayed on the map.
