Oh, don't worry. There Will Be Bugs! We know of a few unfixed bugs, but they are minor. We worry about the significant bugs we don't know, that despite our rigorous testing still maybe managed to slip through.

(How is it that Middle East 1.00 will ship with a few known minor bugs? If we knew about them, why didn't we fix them? Because fixing them wasn't worth the risk. You know the adage: Fix one thing, break another. You reach a point -- the deadline! -- where you throw up your hands, shout "good enough!", and you leave well enough alone.)

If there is soon to be a Middle East 1.01, so be it. If we've done our jobs right, however, and if we're lucky, Middle East 1.01 won't be necessary until a month or several after 1.00's release.

Wish us luck!

That goes for you too, Mr. Murphy.

As soon as we get the installer back from Matrix/Slitherine and it works as it should be, I'll be starting the process of making some video tutorials.

Once they are ready, I'll start posting them, of course.

No worries Hexagon, we don't need to do pagan rituals. I just place my NASA coffee mug near the computer, and all bugs within three foot radius flee in panic.

What berto was referring earlier was the unfortunate fact that some of the bugs probably have found deep, dark caves just outside the radius and hide there, possibly one day coming out into the daylight to see if NASA's still around. For NASA and software bugs don't like each other.

We are considering ordering NASA coffee mugs for the whole team, but running with a lean budget that might take a while.

Hi,

Just spotted this..

Yes.. Good luck.. !

I have had good luck too. Normally when I spot a new game that interests me it is many a month off Gold. So…. bit of a happy surprise for me too : ).

Am well aware that when reworked by people who know these ancient classics can make cracking new games.

Looking forward to it..
All the best,
Kip.

arlier screenshots in this thread with better-looking views. Scroll back up and take a look-see!

Take note of the Port Said 2D graphic. That is one brutal fight as the British/French Joint Force attempts to take the port. I play tested this with Jason, this battle is an instant classic IMHO. Helos, airborne, beach landings, and definitely some close quarters battle.

This is a tough fight for both sides.

Jim
