Erik, I had an idea

The two games I wish to purchase are $109.98
My gift card purchases came out to $110

Matrix/Slitherine already has my payment. If it could be worked out where I was credited with purchasing both games and I was mailed the download links and license codes then that could work.

Just not sure if it would work on your end business wise.
Just a thought I had.

I am really not mad at all. Or even annoyed.
I seem to have a habit of creating crazy situation like this by pushing the boundaries of a given system. At work I usually have a trouble free work experience but when I do get into trouble it is always by pushing our systems to the breaking point and creating complex issues because I tried to get too clever and use exploits.

And besides, these are video games. I am an easy going person at most times and this is nothing to get angry about.
Just amused at myself that I 'broke' another software system by over thinking things when I should have just went the easy route.

I'm sorry, but we are waiting for Bluesnap reply to our query. Once we have more information we will answer on your open Helpdesk ticket.
All the procedures will have to be done manually, as our infrastructure don't permit this.
This is the reason why we warn users that they can only use one gift card code per purchase.

Like I have told you, we are handling this manually with Bluesnap, so it can take up some time.
Anyway all informations about your issue will be transmited through your open ticket, by the tech support member who's dealing with the issue.
We apologize for all the inconvenience.

Just tried to buy a game during the last little bit of the sale using a Visa gift card but it seems the Matrix store is now handled in the UK and Visa gift cards purchased in the US only work in the US. So no sale. Won't be buying any more Matrix games unless they are on Steam and I've bought the ones that interest me there. No serious loss for Matrix, I've only bought a handful of games through the store here, but it sucks for me.

Oldwave the store is not in the UK but we have had to move to Plimus's new API and I wonder if this could be the cause. I'll check and see if I can find any information about it. We have had a number of issues with their new API. The old system was slowly falling apart and we had to upgrade but it seems that there are some issues with the new version too...

Thanks for the reply Iain. I got an error message when I tried twice to buy and just assumed that the store was based out of the country now. Can't use these gift cards outside the US and a lot of my favorite wargame companies are in the UK lol. Mostly bummed about missing the sale, was finally going to dip my toe in the WiTP:AE waters.
Ah well.

Oldwave try going to the cart but choosing PayPal as the payment option. Then they should give you the chance to pay by card or with your account. You may be able to get it to work that way.

I have to say that I purchased by credit( US store) card at 3:00am West time zone without a problem. I did not have to click on pay-pal but clicked on credit card. So it is working for some of us.

Hi Iain, funnily enough I was just trying that. When I get to the Paypal page it says at the top SLITHERINE SOFTWARE UK LIMITED and I didn't go past that as previous experience has been that it gets denied if using one of these Visa gift cards. Going to try putting some funds into the Paypal account via another method and see if that works.
Thanks for the assistance.

Zap, I didn't imagine there were any problems paying by credit card, I was attempting to use one of these infernal gift cards which can no longer be used outside the US.

Maybe PayPal is the problem then and maybe choosing the credit card option will work.
