Due to having a higher bar in choosing games my purchases are generally less.
I did buy COTD

Nothing. Was seriously considering WiF, but it still has too far to go even on the basic stuff. Maybe the next sale event.

I would have bought anyway if there would have been 30% x2 off if you bought the maps (30% off for the sale, and the normal 30% off for buying the maps).

Whoa, what happened? I was waiting until the 10th to buy something in the sale since I had to wait a couple weeks after Christmas shopping, however I see the sale prices are back to regular. I thought the 10th was the last day.

I went for Ageod's games. Revolution Under Siege Gold and Hannibal: Terror of Rome.

Pretty pleased with both of them, by the way.

Nothing.

The games I wanted were not on sale (Santa frowns upon me). I would rather not go through the hassle of purchasing a game (at full price) that is still in beta...my gaming days are numbered anyhow.
It sickens me to think of the time wasted playing games. To think, all this time I could have been playing games for real! I could have spent more time with my girlfriend and bested her at her own game...drat!!!

Girls are much more fun...gots to play their game

I picked up Command:Northern Inferno.... and I wanted to get one more today, but the sale seems to have ended. Is this an error? If so, please turn the sale back on as advertised.

Piercing Fortress Europa, and it is fantastic, really enjoying it and delighted with my purchase. Outstanding game design, IMO, one of Frank Hunters best.

Due to my coming retirement (only 2-5 years away I tell myself so its getting closer), and my new found empty-nester status (twenty somethings moved out), I spent a lot on games this time around. I did not get all that I wanted...just more than I can play anytime soon (stole this saying from another post)!

I am almost embarassed to list them all...well not quite...so here goes:

DC:Barbarossa (Game of the Year for me}
DC:Code Blue
War in the Pacific/AE
World in Flames (for future gaming I hope)
2 Field of Glory add-ons
Distant Worlds:Universe
and on Steam:
Europa Universalis IV
Skyrim-the Elder Scrolls
Medieval II-Total War
Final Fantasy VII

Similar to several others comments. Planned on picking up another game today (WITP), but sale ended prematurely.

Will stick with my Xmas pickup of Command Series Middle East for awhile

I couldn't read the list of games on sale. The sale list display was unreadable on my machine. I'm not angry, frustrated or even disappointed... they saved me money! Thanks Matrix!

They ended up posting a PDF file you could have downloaded....that should have been readable on any machine that had a PDF reader.

LOL ... the rules to that game change constantly, they aren't ever the same twice, and you will lose. Stick to war games. They are cheaper, less hassle to change when the new ones come out, and they don't care if you've been playing around with others. ;-)

Advanced Tactics Gold. Really a great game.
Oh and I figured out how to get it to run in Linux too!

- CotD: Unfortunately looks to me more like a dud. Super-clunky interface, No full-screen, no support to my screen resolution...

and

- ATG: More out of curiosity of trying Vic's early work. It looks like a great game, indeed

Got too many games already...that I don't play nor have the time to play near enough. That includes WITP, Civil War 2, CMANO. So I didn't buy anything...

We'eeelllll sorta. At the last minute I scooped up the Steam Sale of Unity of Command Trilogy.

I'm in the same boat as many others here. Didn't get anything. Problem is I already just about everything worth having (from my POV), which is far more games than I have time for anyway. I'm just getting a lot more picky with my new acquisitions. That said, there are a few titles in the pipeline I'm keeping at eye on for sure.

I'm also finding myself a lot more interested in physical board games lately. Wargames and otherwise. There's so much good stuff coming out the last few years. Being able to hold the pieces and roll the dice and all that is really enjoyable.
