Hi, everyone.

I recently purchased the game, and started to play the tutorial scenario.
I successfully knocked out the SAM sites and brought the A-7s and A-6s to the shelter of aircraft. The Paveways worked well, hit their target, but almost all the Mk82 bombs missed.
I'm wondering whether I played wrong somewhere or it is the nature of the Mk80 series?
Looking forward to someone's help.

Nevertheless, it is a great game, and I think I will continue to explore the details of it.

Without a save I would imagine that the mk82s were dropped from anything above minimum altitude. LGBs are quite accurate; mk82 'dumb' bombs are really quite inaccurate. They depend on very low altitude and are even then likely to need 6-10x as much ordnance as LGBs to do the job.

The hit and damage probability of dumb bombs is depending on many factors like pilot experience, bombing altitude, hight and speed.

What does it mean? More accurate freefalling/gliding path, or contact recognition?

Sounds great and looking forward to the advanced strike planner.

So, if I want to improve the accuracy, I should fly at minimum launching altitude, just above stall speed, and in good weather, is that right?

Quick sea story: VAW-125 "won" the airwing bombing derby held on the USS SARATOGA (CV-60) one year in the mid-80's. Basically, they had a crewman hanging outside the escape hatch throwing a practice bomb at the target while the E-2 flew over it with flaps down at about 80 knots and 50 feet altitude.

I know you're being a smartass but to some extent..,yes Most flight profiles should accommodate.

If you do see stuff the best thing to do is to post a save with quick explanation. We do follow up.

As mentioned you should see some improvement soon (1.11 update)nRegardless.

For one bomb, yes, unless you dive bomb like they did in the battle of Midway, and even then there were significantly more misses than hits.
