I'm still waiting for confirmation that Italy and Japan don't declare any land attacks (odds are so bad I don't think they are going to attack).

Germany declares 5 attacks. 3 of them are automatic victories.

In Poland attack vs INF is 31,5:6.

In France attack vs 3-3 INF is 29:3 Blitz (If France succeeds in def HQ support AND Germany fails in fractional odds, then it is 6:1B. Otherwise it is automatic)

Does France want to provide def HQ support by their HQ in Paris?

Germany uses Attacking HQ support in Poland and rolls 1.

4 automatic attacks.

Is it assault in Poland (4:1)?

warspite1

Yes please - assault.

I will take this on in the absence of Ormster. Rationale: There is no point in retreating (and keeping the Germans face up) as the 6-3 was put there to delay the German attack on Warsaw.

I would have chosen assault also as defender.

Germany rolls high and barely stays organized. Go von Leeb and Attacking HQ support!

Germany rebases Ju52 closer to front line.

Here is northern Europe after German attacks.

Who knows if Paris and Warsaw falls same impulse...

Congrats for whoever is playing China...good maneuvering west of Si-An and taking advantage of Japanese inaction. Looks like the Chi-coms might be saved.

Well that's something of a problem. I cannot get MWIF to run on my computer. Just tried DC:B and that loaded and ran okay, but MWIF refuses to do so.

All other things on the main menu work (except the check for update of course) e.g. I can call up RAC and Charts. But when I click on Play....nothing happens.

Any ideas anyone?

Turn it off. Wait around 30 seconds and then turn it on.

What version of windows are you using? Make sure you save every open file first. Shut down all your applications. And depending on your version of windows, I'm running 10, something like this ... (restart).

The "action" moves to the land now and the French do what they can - which is pretty much jack. The 20th Garrison Corps moves to the northwest suburbs of Paris - but is disorganised in the process. The order goes out - "Stand fast men - don't let the Boche past". Not sure why the French are giving orders in English but sadly no one in the corps speaks that language and thus have no idea what the hell they were just told to do......

The 43rd Infantry Corps are ordered to hold Lyons until the last man.

In Africa the 13th Infantry Corps get up close and personal with some Libyan territorials...

Meanwhile back en Francais, General Weygand asks for a couple of volunteers to look for an ideal location for a new capital (should it be required).

The entire 12th Army volunteer for this hazardous mission.....

Not much else to talk about really. The Soviets "beef up" the Karelian Army with the addition of the not-ever-so-slightly-rubbish 12th Army, and the remaining troops in the south start to feel a tad exposed and move back toward Kiev and Dnepretpeorvpovkssk (or something). The Mongolian cavalry head into town and prepare to........uh I dunno but I'll think of something at some point.

In China the movement is limited by the weather, the rubbish terrain and the lack of mechanised units. God, playing the Chinese is rubbish...

Finally, the US send a division to a place so great they named it twice - no not New York, New York - but Pago Pago.

The British decide to get serious in the Med and send a Hampden bomber group to Malta.

N/D 39 Axis 9

No DoW or alignments.

Germany & Japan Land. Italy Combined.

Italy flies ATR to North Sea 2-box and a fighter to West Med 1-box.

CA San Giorgio loads 1st Inf Div and heads into West Med. Does the CW wish to intercept?

The French CA proves up to the task and intercepts its Italian counterpart (3 rolled). The San Giorgio elects to remain in the sea-zone's 2-box.

Two areas for naval combat.
