ORIGINAL: warspite1 Well that was an unpleasant surprise to wake up to.... I don't know about Vichy under these rules so, looking at the rules, but without the map, I have the following questions: Each home country or territory aligned with Vichy France becomes conquered by any Axis major power that has a land unit in it. Are there any territories that remain under Axis control? I assume Madagascar is one because of the action taken above - any others? Commonwealth and Free French units cooperate Do the Free French units suffer from the same restrictions as (for example) the Dutch i.e. they cannot enter a minor country (e.g. Egypt) - or is this restriction off? I cannot see if they are treated as a major power or a minor power in this regard. Also there were 6 BB and 2 CA in Marseillies - is the picture above incomplete i.e. should there be another BB and CA to be re-based (in addition to the BB,CA and TRS destroyed?) Presumably the units in Syria and Morocco are now Free French? Thanks! Vichy aligned minors that were already conquered by the Axis stay that way. Thus Tunisia, Madagascar, and Indo-China stay Axis conquered. Free France is a major power. Its units may enter any active minor, just like both CW and French units could both enter Belgium. Since it now cooperates with the CW, it may enter CW home countries as well. (And the US when the US enters the war. Very important when the French builds transports, which the Allies really want to do.) I have no idea what units were in Marseilles. All Vichy units not in Vichy become Free French, so yes, French units in Morocco and Syria are now Free French.
