Japan rails ENG to Tayuan.

Germany rails ART and 2x INF from Poland to France.

Italy rails INF HQ to France.

Germany prepares to attack MOT in France.

Italy takes Bordeaux and moves INF div to same hex with TER in Algeria.

Japanese INF HQ debarks to Hanoi.

Japan declares 5:1 attack near Hanoi supported by 2 points of ground support by carrier planes.

Germany declares 69:6 (automatic) attack vs MOT in France. CW can support MOT by sending Harrow with no escorting planes. Germany can intercept with 5 point Bf109. I guess no planes are flying?

In the absence of Orm I will say no to flying the Harrow on a suicide mission.

So the Heinkel flying-boats carry level bombs just as good as they do the anti-shipping torpedoes. I never noticed that. I'm not sure if that reflects better on the Kriegsmarine, or the Luftwaffe, but it kinda makes sense since they hated each other.

I bet they just dropped mines.

In the absence of Mayhemizer and AllenK I have been authorised to make their decisions.

Do not intercept. Instead proceed to scrap this and all Italian, German and Japanese units immediately. The three countries are seeking peace, and in a sign of their good intentions they are to unilaterally scrap all war-making material forthwith and disband their armed forces.

The three dictators have given an unreserved apology for being so naughty and have agreed to pay massive reparations.

They have also announced unequivocally that Orm and warspite1 have won this game. They thought they could get away with taking over the world, but in breaking news, Hitler has this to say:

"yeah and we would have gotten away with it too if it hadn't been for those pesky kids Orm and warspite1".

Italy intercepts and sends bomber to box 2 with fighter.

The Italian fighter fail to find the Allied ships (10 rolled). The ships continue to Bay of Biscay where a MOT is loaded.

Mar/Apr '40
Allied #3

CW and France send out plenty of convoy escorts. Home Fleet sail for Bay of Biscay (A carrier with 2 cruisers in the 4 box and the battleships in the 3 box). The Queens sail for Bay of Biscay as well (3-box) where they load a militia from England. Another transport sail from England, loaded with a infantry, to Cape St Vincent.

CW bombs Taranto for no effect (3 rolled).

No ground strikes.

China rail a garrison to Kweilin. USSR rail a MECH from Persia to Novgorod.

China retreat out of Indo-China.

No land combats.

CW rebase a CVP from HMS Courageous to HMS Glorious. CW also rebase a fighter to Plymouth and a naval bomber to Barrow.

No reorganization.

M/A 40 Axis 5

No DoW

German land, Italy and Japan combined.

Italian LND to West Med box 2 and Bay of Biscay box 1.

Japanese AMPH to Sea of Japan, loaded with MIL and TRS to China Sea loaded with AA gun. (I reserve the right to make changes for TRS and AA gun move if AllenK don't want to move it, he has not yet answered to me).

Italy initiates combat in Bay of Biscay, Germany intercepts with FTR and NAV.

Both sides declines combat in West Med (French sub and Italian planes in the sea area).

FAA reconnaissance spots a group of Italian submarines that have taken temporary shelter in the undefended port of La Rochelle. HMS Furious launches a dozen Swordfish from 816 Squadron and the venerable "stringbags" set about their business.....

CW bombs Rome. (6+1 -> No effect)

No ground strikes.

USSR rail 11th infantry from Persia to Novgorodand CW rail 3rd infantry from Birmingham to Liverpool.

The Indian militia relocate from Palestine to Beirut.

China orders the Kunming Militia to advance into French Indo-China. China also make minor adjustments of their lines but this is enough to disorganize several units, including their HQ.

The Soviet Union move a few units towards the Finnish border.

CW debark 2nd Infantry to Casablanca.

China has been studying the Japanese combat tactics for a while and decide to train the militia first. At once they want to try their new skill and charges.

Will Umezu provide HQ support for the 2nd SNLF Division?
