Your going to lose men, but you have to make him pay a cost.

Also you will have areas of the front you should baable to attack on, these seeming meaningly attacks really help grind down German OOB below 3.5 million.

Once German OOB is below 3.5 million it really starts seeing the effects and opens up allot more weak spots in the lines and the steamrolling can start in summer of 43.

Allot of Russian players don
t attack enough in 42. Areas where you know your going to lose units attack attack attack as your going to lose 100,000 men to surrender anyways like that bulge in the lins atleast make him pay some cost for them.

I'm a veteran of making reopenable pockets, guess my battle plans are too ambitious or the execution too sloppy
It seems, I always lack just one 50MP division to make a tight pocket...

Zakharov is worthy of a guards army. Klykov is third rate and should be replaced.

Well, it's May so the weather may be my friend or enemy. It all depends where the mud will appear.

even with mud---it doesnt look like he got more than a tank BDE in the way---some bombing followed by a ground attack should get the hex and just save one unit to step in...because good luck the soviets moving Germans in the mud lol

But I'm afraid to be involved in a contest like the battle near the Sea of Azov in October 1941, where my isolated SS troops fought with isolated Soviet troops for weeks. That left them totally exhausted, despite air supply.

How is your armor?
I found under the new amendments, that my armor suffered losses greater than before.

Armor is fine, but I have trouble replacing motorized infantry. My motorized infantry divisions operate at 30-45% TOE, while panzers at 45-60% TOE. This is of course mostly due to them being sent far away from railhead turn after turn (penetrating enemy lines), where they have trouble replacing losses. Infantry is at 55-65%.

I had similar figures & found it took over 2 months plus to get my motorized up 70% TOE & I had them
sitting in Prussia....mind you it doesnt help that there are TOE upgrades during this period.
