Turn 12. Jul/Aug 1941. Allied #9. CW, HQ Reorg.

In preparing for the worse, Alexander is ordered to reorganize all the naval resources he can based at Gibraltar. Making use of fractions, Alexander is able to reorganize 4.5 points worth of units using 4 reorg points.

This is a bug. That .5 should have rounded up (see the fraction rule), and this should have cost five reorganization points.

If you have a saved game, please report this in the tech support section.

Pat,

German scrap: 4 Hungarian fighter, 2 German u-boat and 3 German u-boat. Do you wish to scrap any of these?

Edited for clarity. The Germans will not scrap any units.

It is interesting, that I went through that screen before saving the file and sending it to you. For some reason apparently that fact was not included in the saved game and therefore it showed up as a question to you again.

OK. No German units scrapped.

Sorry for the delay. I was "tied up" watching the final two games of the World Series. I'm not a big Indian's or Cubs' fan, but it's nice to see the Cubs win one. After all it's been a 108 years (1908) since they last won one. A lot's changed in the world since then.

Jul/Aug 1941. End of Turn. Germany's Scorched Earth.

Amazing, my opponent is already carrying out a scorched earth and has destroyed 7 blue factories in occupied territories. The specific blue factories destroyed are: Paris x 2, Toulouse, Liege, Madrid, Bilbo and Lodz.

Turn 13. Sep/Oct 1941. Start of Turn Instructions (Allies).

1. Trade adjustment, increase the oil sent by the USA to the CW by 1 (total of 5 oil points).

2. The allies will move first if given the option. (The allies can't ask for a re-roll. The initiative track is at +1 axis).

No change to Axis lending.
Allies only change was to increase to 5 oil (from 4) the US shipment to the CW.

SO41 i1: Naval Options
The Japanese took a combined action, while Germany and Italy took air actions.
I have moved one JP sub out to sea, heading towards Truk.
The GE and IT moved a number of air units to BoB, CSV, and W. Med (see below). I will be initiating combat in each zone with the indicated unit. You have a number of possible intercept responses. When you get a chance to load up your game and look, please get back to me with you responses and I will continue from that point.

Turn 13. Sep/Oct 1941. Axis #1. Allied Reactions.

1. Cape St. Vincent: Mosquito RAF fighter based at Tangier flies to the 0-box. The CW will avoid combat if given the chance. The CW will stay in the sea area to the bitter end. In air-to-air if given choice of axis air units to abort or destroy, always go for the bombers.

2. Bay of Biscay: Beau RAF fighter based at Bristol flies to the 0-box. The CW will avoid combat if given the chance. The CW will stay in the sea area to the bitter end. In air-to-air if given choice of axis air units to abort or destroy, always go for the bombers.

3. Western Med: No additional air units fly. The CW will avoid combat if given the chance. The CW will stay in the sea area to the bitter end.

By the way, I will be unavailable for most, if not all, of this evening. I'll be watching the Alabama vs LSU game. Go TIDE!
