Please add more columns to the loss report and separate out Allied/Axis minors units from the primary country columns to make it easier to see what has been lost and by the country that lost it.

If possible, each individual country should have their own column by separation in to major/minor columns should be enough.

Thanks.

Please add something that will tell us what the weather is when we mouse over a hex. The current display does not work for people who use lower resolutions, and sometimes not for those who use the most detailed resolutions. The lower left side of the panel, which shows the weather, is often cut off and not in view.

I like the inclusions of light Tanks as per World in Turmoil Mod with them only having one strike capability

Yes please, showing roads and rail tracks in the enlarged mouseovrr review would be helpful, if feasible

I get no weather indications (other than the graphical one) with my resolution.

It works okay for me at 1920 x 1080, though I do understand others are having issues at other resolutions

Two small things:

If I have the research dialog open, allow me to click on another dialog, say Purchase, without having to first close the research dialog.

When I say quit, I mean quit. I don't mean go to a second window where I have to click on quit again, watch credits scroll by until I click, and then have to click off a third window. :) If you like, put in another option to go to the main menu.

Small things that make a UI great. It's not a bad UI already though.

I was thinking exactly the same thing last night, I otherwise think it's a pretty good UI

Another request, this one pretty important.

Doesn't there need to be an order of battle available for each nation? Just a screen showing how many units of each type I own would be fine.

That would be very nice, per nation

This would be great. Games for Windows should use actual windows.

I also want the game to be able to play in an actual window. I'm tired of scrolling off the game to another screen and watching the map scroll to the edge. Once mouse focus is off the game, the map should not move.

Thanks all for these suggestions, there are some we'll add to the 'update' list for sure

Playing in windowed mode is already on the list (and close to the top of 'things to be done') so hopefully it will come but we'd like to get PBEM done first

Small thing but for HQ two other options:
Detach All
Auto - Land

The first is self explanatory I feel like most turns I am reallocating units and trying to sort through if I have multiple HQs in the same area is a pain.
Auto - Land would run auto mode but prioritize land units. Auto is often good enough but I rarely want the air units attached.

Interesting, I tend to prioritize the air units, as replacements are expensive

I'm with you o_guy, air units get the most highly rated commanders and the easiest targets, at first.

Later, their attacks can be devastating, teched up with experience, to unravel the toughest enemy positions.

Most valuable units on the map, except in inclement weather.

I've been hip deep in the Russian winter a lot in my recent playing so it has affected my view of what needs HQ support.

Yeah same here. I feel that tactical bombers especially are the most important units in the game.
They get first grab at research, upgrades, reinforcements and attached to my best HQ's before everyone else.

Glad to hear this Ben. Sometime in the future is fine, PBEM will generate more sales so I understand that priority first.

When playing the Allies, the US has two decision events regarding aid to the USSR - spend 40 MPP's per turn to deliver 80 MPP's. These are badly needed by the Soviets until the tide begins to turn against Germany. Then it would be nice if the US could turn off one or both of those supply spigots and beat the Russkies to Berlin! I find no way to do that now.

Yes, there are actually several decisions that I wish you could reverse after time has passed, but without seeing the code, it seems to me that wouldn't be an easy thing to add.

An extra level of zoom is needed. Currently it is hard to read the numbers on the units. Or to see certain terrain features like rivers when units are on or near them.

Add a possibility to import an image file as an overlay or layer to editor, this should allow any new Map design to be quicker

+1. Once the Soviets start producing, they have more than they can spend. The US actually needs the MPPs more, especially if they are sending them to the UK.

I agree, I've spent more than an hour trying to figure out what the weather is, and now i realize it's not me, playing in a lower resolution I can't see it, I have to infer it from the graphics. Sandstorms are pretty easy, but why is this not obvious? Games 1/10 as good as this one have the weather real visible.

And, while I'm at this, where can I see the current date? The only work around I've found it to start to save the current game and then it tells me what date it is before i save the file. Why is the current date clearly visible at all times?

The game is great, but it seems like you did not have idiots like me beta test it.....
