@Karaganov I think the vanilla developers really screwed the defence values of the sIG 38(t) M (the Grille Ausf. K in reality):
http://www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/nazi_germany/sIG-33_auf_SdKfz38%28t%29-Ausf-H-M_Grille.php
It has 10 for ground defence and 10 for air defence which is comparable to the StuG IIIB, even though it is actually an open top vehicle, much like the sIG 33 II (Sf), Wespe and Hummel which have values in the range of 3-6. Even if you compare their chassis and tower armour I don`t see what justifies those high defence values on the Grille.

I gave mine 4 for ground defence and 5 for air defence.

I`ve assembled the Romanian Fi-156. The camouflage is wrong and the plane only entered service with Romania in 1942 and was actually used for liaison and not reconnaissance, but in lack of an IAR-38, what a hey, maybe you can find an use for it.

Guys, I have a question: were there any Soviet river monitors on the Volga during the battle of Stalingrad?

And speaking of Stalingrad, do we have this SPG?

Volga flotilla had in its composition 20 gunboats (kanonenboot), 20 armored boats and 12 minesweepers.

River monitors fought on the Dnieper River, the Pripyat River, the Berezina River and the Danube River in the summer of 1941

Yep. Come to think of it, a new set of German aircraft would have been nice too. As I`ve said, I`m updating the DLC scenarios and after I`ve replaced the Italians attacking Stalingrad with Romanians I can`t help but notice the difference in size between the German He-111 and the Romanian He-111. Romania must have fed its Heinkels more than Germany I suppose.

Great work on that! At 72,60 the size of the map is fairly small btw. Maybe it will work on Slitherine`s MP system too.

Unfortunately, this is only a small piece of map. I suspect that the MP problem will not be solved in the near future. I think we can forget about it. So we are left with only the hot seat...

Does anyone here knows the movements of the Hungarian Second Army at Voronezh in 1942? A map would be even better, but generally I just need to know which major units were present where and on what dates.

Thank you! This means there should have been some Hungarian auxiliaries on the DLC `42 Voronezh map. I`ll see how I can add some without unbalancing the scenario.

Do you happen to know what types of Soviet aircraft were used during the 1939 invasion of Poland? I`m especially interested in the bombers.

Of all the words I can think of to describe the Soviet military attack on Poland, "liberation" would not be one of them.

As Razz said, it is possible. If I remember correctly, bebro did so to make a class for the Japanese Kamikaze.
I think the files involved are:
unitclass.pzdat - obvious actually. The new entry should be added at the end.
strings.pzdat - there are some class descriptions at the beginning of the file I think and then a series of IDS_CLASS entries.
equipment.pzdat - you need to add the new class to whichever units you made it for. Column C if you open the file in Excel.

You`ll also need to go through all the editor files from the UI folder (open them with Notepad like the others), locate the instances where existing classes are mentioned and add entries for the new class so that you can use it in the editor if you want to.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that you need to add graphics for the symbol of the new class in UI/unitclasses and Graphics/StrategicMap and in UI/purchase/classes if the units in that class are recruitable. There are some in UI/unitinfo too, but I`m not sure if they`re used.

Make backups before editing anything.

I have a question. Do we have graphics made for this Soviet gun?

In Soviet historiography of these events were called "The Liberation march of the Red Army to Western Belarus and Western Ukraine".

No
But you can use a 76.2mm gun F-22 USV 1939. It was an improved version F-22.

Btw, about the use of the backfire trait for the bombers that we`ve discussed previously. It can be done and it looks great in my opinion. I had probably used the upgrade trait instead of the actual unit trait when I did my test.

Using the Ju-87 as an example, the equipment file entry should look like this (the matrix forums code function does not work it seems so I`ll leave the lines free):

141 Ju 87D 8 320 7 96 11 1 0 2 10 8 -4 4 21 12 0 2 0 Ju_87D.png 13.11.1941 1.1.1946 5 Junkers Ju 87 D backfire Stuka

and in the efx entry you need to switch the first value of each set. For example from:

Ju_87D.png (-5,-34) (5,-34) (,) (,) StukaAttack AirDefense1 air1 air2 air3

to

Ju_87D.png (5,-34) (-5,-34) 0 0 StukaAttack AirDefense1 air1 air2 air3

Lastly, you need a mirrored file for the AirDefense1 animation. I`ll attach mine bellow. You could of course rename mine to AirDefense2 and edit the efx file accordingly so that you have both types if you want that. In the end it`s up to you if you think it`s worth the trouble, but I`m gonna implement it in my mod. It`s nice to see the bomber turning as if wanting to escape. And it gives the impression that the fighters are repelling the attack.

Yes, but guns USV 1939 were significantly greater in the Red Army

I think I have managed to assemble all the remaining cards from what H.Balck has released so far. Also, I have assembled all the ships so that the cards are done in a similar style, with the same positioning rules (ships having a small height and long shadow needed different settings from the land units). There are 43 ships and also 46 other unit cards, but I am not going to release them on the forums until the Hungarian CR.42 fighter and Romanian Hurricane Mk.I are posted. Still, if Karaganov and Brazenman need some of these for their mods sent me a message.

Poles perceive this event as aggression, while belarusians perceive this event as a liberation. Such is life...

Moreover, do not forget that Poland concluded an alliance with Hitler and had occupied part of Czechoslovakia. (By the way. The Soviet Union was ready to provide military aid to Czechoslovakia. But Romania and Poland refused to allow the passage of Soviet troops through its territory).

Furthermore

January 26, 1939.
Józef Beck made a statement for the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany that Poland will qualify for all territory of Soviet Ukraine and part of coast of the Black Sea (all according to the plan of "Great Poland" - from sea to sea).

March 4, 1939.
Polish military command prepared a plan for war with the Soviet Union - "Vostok" ("Vskhud").

But Berlin decided that the Wehrmacht will be able to independently break the Red Army in the eastern campaign and that Poland should enter the "living space" resurgent German empire.
