ORIGINAL: bo With sound advise from the posters here playing a little better against the Russians, have kind of ignored the naval game, not a good idea. A minor quirk IMO occured last night in a game playing as the Axis one of my subs with no upgrades was attacked by a US carrier some 5 hexes away, the sub received no damage but the carrier lost 2 points. I am asssuming that the damage was the loss of a few planes unless the Sub could fire a torpedo at the carrier from some 30 miles away Now that sub must of had a couple of 88's on their deck ok just joking, I could care less if it is fixed, means nothing to me game wise, but I just started to really notice some battle results and some are a little skewed, [not sure if that is a correct word to use here] do hope that Hubert notices these little things along with I guess some other minor fixes, very good game. Bo I've noticed this also. Air units take damage from attacking a Sub? Doesn't make sense to me? Was the damage to the CV to the planes or to the ship, or both? I can see how it could be feasible for the sub to have damaged the planes a little - usually in WW2 planes attacked subs when they were on the surface, and it could take them a little while to dive when not prepared for it, so they were also armed with light AA guns (can subs in SC3 have their AA ability improved? I don't have the game immediately to hand to check)
