WiF dice can be incredibly frustrating at times.

Actually, at almost all times, because if they aren't frustrating to one side, they are to the other.

Indeed. When I play Allies the WIF dice are mean to the Allies and when I am Axis the dies are equally mean to the Axis. And the dies seems to be very generous to my opponent in every game. So those that say that the die rolls equals out over time have it right. To bad that I am never on the equal side.

Right I am away from the computer for the next few hours. If he comes on line, Ormster has instructions for the Soviet moves up to the movement phase. I would like to be involved in the Soviet movement phase however.

No declarations of war.

Land: USSR, China
Combined: USA
Naval: France, CW

No Port Strikes.

CW send a FTR3 to the 3-box in the Bay of Biscay.

CW send out some convoy escorts. A couple of convoys in the East Med and the Indian Ocean return to port.

A British battle fleet sail to the Bay of Biscay. A joint French-British picket is established in the East Med.

CW establish a light presence in the Indian Ocean. A few cruisers rush through western part of the Ocean. And two old battleships patrol the Arabian sea.

Cruiser bases has been established in South Africa and on Reunion.

A British fleet also begins to patrol CSV.

Allies can activate combat in three sea areas but decline in all three.

Will Italy activate in the East Med?

Land Movement (Cont)

Soviet Union
Not much to report - in Europe in true Jurgen Klopp styleee, the Soviets continue to try 'gegenpressen' tactics, while in the Far East, rain doesn't exactly stop play, but it makes it incredibly slow moving. Nonetheless, the Soviet 1st Far Eastern Front continues to move toward the twin towns of Kirin and Changchun.

Chinese Communists
Also adopting Mr Klopp's tactics, [Football chant: Chairman Mao and his yellow and red army] head east, with a goal of re-taking Si-An.

EDIT 2: There will be no Allied player around tonight. I will be online tomorrow evening however.

EDIT 3: Okay I guess no action tonight. I will be around for most of tomorrow evening but not around Thursday. Orm should be back Friday so one of us will be available from then.

Although Stalin refuses to believe the reports and the evidence, wiser heads in Moscow - and certainly those on the frontline - are certain that the treacherous Germans intend to break the Nazi-Soviet at the earliest opportunity.

The Soviet Army, from Murmansk to the Black Sea, looks weak and vulnerable - filled with too many under-strength armies, militia and second-line garrison troops.

Italy sends NAV to CSV 4-box.

Japan sails INF HQ from Tokyo to Truk. TRANS sails from Canton into China Sea 0-box and loads a GARR from Tokyo.

Italian TRANS loads a GARR at La Spezia and heads into the Italian Coast. Do the Allies wish to intercept?

Yes please. Lt-Cdr Wanklyn, aboard HMS Upholder, leads four others - HM Submarines Torbay, Utmost, Urge and Undaunted in search of an Italian convoy believed to be at sea and heading south.

The Italian NAV starts the searching. The Axis react a German BF-109 from Gibraltar and a further Italian NAV from Spain to the 1-box. The Allies can send a variety of aircraft. F2A, Blenheim and Harrow can get to the 2-box, the rest the 1-box. Do any wish to rise into the rainy skies?
