Wouldn't the Japanese get zero surprise in the South China Sea, allowing US to spend 4 to pick SUB combat?

It's not the DoW surprise impulse.

EDIT: Your turn to beat me to the punch

Okay, at the last minute, the US sub skipper gets a premonition of approaching trouble and heads for the deep. Aborted sub does go back to Singapore.

I have to call it quits for the night but I'll send the file over to Mayhemizer for German moves.

The turn goes faster when one side initiates many naval searches, and neither side can find each other.

No strategic bombing. Japanese artillery tries a ground strike in Manchuria.

Soviet positions are bracketed in what appeared to be a successful strike but as the dust settled and troops emerged from fox holes, the damage was remarkably light. So close ...

There will at least be a land combat in China.

Germany makes automatic attack against partisan in France as noticed before.

Japan attacks Chinese CAV with ground support.

Chinese fighter can stay on ground, intercept or provide ground support. How is it going to be?

EDIT: CAV is under attack, not MIL.

The Mohawk fly as a bomber, and the Tomahawk fly as a fighter and escort the Mohawk.

Allied 12: Japanese bomber is cleared through.

Axis 5: Chinese fighter is aborted. Where do you want to land Chinese planes?

The Tomahawk lands on the city it flew from. The Mohawk land on the HQI.

There seems to be Japanese AA gun in attacking stack. AllenK did not give instructions if he wants to fire or not, but I think he likes 7:1 more than 5:1 so AA gun fires to negate Chinese fighter-bomber.

It would be nice if Axis could roll equally good in both our games.

To be fair they the Axis in this game have had some pretty poo dice in Spain. But yes it would be nice if I could roll more than a 5 with anyone in land combat - especially while trying to get over the Dyle with them narzeyes....

I think they have been close to average in Spain. Early on they had some spectacular attacks in Spain with stunning success.

Which kind of tells its own story... The Allies have been crucified in the air and at sea around the Iberian Peninsular, but the luck seemed to desert you guys when it came to boots on the ground.

We had 30% chance to get fine weather in North Temperate. And then I decided to roll a 10!

Turn is going to be very short and hope to get fine weather to northern Spain is lost...

Back to the Allies.
