I am playing against the Japanese AI and I've captured some armament and vehicle factories. I turned them ON to produce and some points have accumulated. Will I be able to make use of any Veh or Armament points?

Thanks for any assistance.

I believe you are playing as Allies since the Japanese AI is your opponent, so I will state that Armament and Aircraft factories turn into a smaller number of vehicle factories. BUT, from discussion with Alfred and others it seems the Allies do not get any usable benefit from captured vehicle factories - i.e. no vehicles are added to the pools from these factories. I think they exist purely for the Japanese to recapture and use, if they can.

I also think Manpower centres captured do not benefit the Allies. Merchant and Naval Shipyards convert to Repair Shipyards which are useful. I don't think the Allies can use HI points either, but the supply output is always good (if you can afford the fuel inputs). I try to capture bases with lots of Resources and some LI, but don't repair damaged industry unless I have oodles of supply.

The economics are only for the Japanese side. These points do you as a Allied player no good.

Captured factories for the Allies are just chrome. They don't do anything.

LOL any Allied who needs MOAR vehicles, they donot even know how to store them that they not rust away....

HQ also just called me, that they want to want to buy all garbage dumps on the west coast, they have 7 Mio supply and not one qm of storage room left (after accounting it turned out these are 7,6 Mio and ONLY in SanFran, I said give some combat boots to the homeless, but they said no homeless are left everyone builds combat boots)

You probably do not want to put your tankers in those Chi Ha's anyways. They would just mutiny on you.

The vehicles coming out of those factories are booby-trapped with exploding air bags. Do NOT use them.

wrt captured Japanese industry:

Captured economy-type factories (Manpower, HI, LI, Refinery, Oil & Resources) work just fine when they're re-flagged to the Allies. Keep their Production turned on, turn Repair on as needed, Resource factories get last priority.

As noted above, captured shipyards will auto-convert to usable Repair Shipyards, you'll want to turn Repair on if any are damaged.

Captured arms/aircraft factories (Armament, Vehicle, Engines, Air) are useless, turn Production & Repair off so they don't eat any supply.

hotkey 'J' brings up the Industry screen where you can manage these choices.

Please describe how Manpower benefits the Allies? I know the Japanese create new squads using Manpower points and supply, but the Allies cannot do this.
