China - There is over 50% increase in non-infantry devices and more supplies that can be generated and come in automatically. Most Allied bases start with forts at 3 or better.

I hope you have Tracker up and running to assist you.


Tracker= Must have and I use it every turn during games and a lot prior to.
You two have done a great job giving people options, that is for sure. I need to delve deeper into it.

Regarding IJN fighters, Jack has a nasty little change beginning with the second Jack model. Well played

Status: offline 		Then for the first 18 months, these are the reinforcement. Don't forget many hybrids at start can become full CVL, AO to CVE conversions.

Status: offline 		Hmm Ranger that will be interesting since it was covering the Torch landings in November 42, and the Navy thought it was unfit for Pacific duty. Unless this is a different Ranger CV4?

I vaguely recall something about Ranger being considered rebuilt in John's mod so that it is much more modern than IRL, but I don't recall any of the specs.

We're running on the premise that things get desperate enough to bring in a 'marginal' CV that very thought was capable of being used in the Pacific. She is there. Good luck. Marginal is the word I use to describe her BUT she does bring in 36 Fighters and 36 DB...

Status: offline 		May 11, 1943 - Ki-84a Frank R&D efforts finally bare some fruit as they advance to 3/44 (first advance).

I have three more factories that need less than 5 more repairs each to join the efforts.

After a brief Full Speed run to islands south of Kodiak to attack transports, I set them to Cruise Speed to return to Adak (14 hexes). Again, it did this in one turn. Why did this TF move the full 14 hexes each time rather than take two days??

Very strange. On mission they choose and can usually make 14 hexes, especially back to their home base. On cruise, not sure what's going on.

It is not strange at all...there is no difference between mission and cruise speed unless the TF Commander elects to kick in flank speed for whatever reason, which is allowed in mission setting but not in cruise setting or at least that is my understanding. It is why ships in combat zones sink when on mission speed...because the commander fears enemy forces and goes flank speed causing so much extra strain on the ships. Cruise speed prevents bursts of flank speed.

Status: offline 		I spent 30 hours in the local hospital for chest pains on Thanksgiving Day (1pm at ER) and Friday (7pm discharged). I passed my stress test on Friday morning, but my brief time on the treadmill tells me I need to start walking daily beginning this morning. Found out it was acid reflux and I'm on meds (Protonix) for the next month.

Meanwhile, we have reached 6 June '43 this morning. I'll do brief update as manly it has been sub warfare and the operations in central China.

Status: offline 		I've done better in stockpiling supplies due to limited war efforts by the Allies in May. However, I'm not doing well enough in stockpiling Fuel and Heavy Industry (HI).

Status: offline 		China: The only place where ground combat is taking place. The Allies have sizable forces in all these stacks except the one due NE of Chungking. I'm steadily reducing his forces, but its taking some time.

YMMV - I took Omeprazole (Prilosec) for around 8 years (tried stopping several times) before I drastically cut carbs. Within 2 or 3 months I stopped and never looked back. Did I mention YMMV?

Just did 23rd turn and Ki-49a Frank advanced to 12/43🙂 I have 240 factories repaired with another factory just one away from bringing another 30 factories online. Should get them in mid-August as they are advancing a month every 10 days.

It is really nice when your RnD kicks in like that ...8 months advancement really makes a difference. you have completely negated the allied P47 now ...
